“Lovely park with a range of caravans and chalets. We only stayed one night as I had a race in Caernarfon on the Sunday. The chalet we stayed in was immaculate and wanted for nothing. The onsite cafe had a great range of well priced food, and due to the unexpected heat wave in September the kid's made full use of the outdoor pool. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend 👌”

They offer this as dog friendly site...not really because you cannot leave a dog unattended in a caravan,(quite rightly) But if you choose to go near the main complex they will put you in a dreary room away from as many people and facilities as possible...could not get a drink if you were on your own.need someone to hold the dog. Not really dog friendly.. If you take your dog go when it is warm as you are better off sitting outside.”

“We had a lovely stay here in lodge number 8, absolutely stunning location and great for the dog. We opted for contactless check in which was easy & we had a little welcome box on arrival of goodies! The pizza van on a Wednesday was lovely & you can prebook so was ready when we arrived. Such a shame we had bad weather so didn’t get to see the sunset from our lodge, The views were just incredible even when cloudy! Only downside was our cooker wouldn’t function on the last night and a lovely man came out but couldn’t fix it so had no dinner on the last night which was a shame! This wouldn’t put me off and I would definitely stay again 🥰”

“This wonderful place is practically a hotel with a shared bathroom for much less than other hotels around it. The location is close to the city centre but far enough away that it doesn't get loud when the students get kicked out of bars. It's close to the train station so it's not a hassle to get to with luggage. Breakfast was a cook yourself kind of thing but was always good quality for your money. It also came with the option to have fresh coffee, cereal, toast etc.”

“Attended a 1980's themed works Christmas function here. Lovely Hotel, comfy warm beds, cozy room, hot shower, great food - it was really fun and we all has a great night. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout the night, despite the fact that is was a busy hectic evening. The hotel is in a lovely location within walking distance of the river, the castle and the pretty village of Brynbuga/Usk (though we didn't do that this time). I would highly recommend a visit here.”

“Just back from a 4 night stay in a Lodge at Brynteg. We’ve been here before but not for a few years. The location is superb with the mountain backdrop, and so many fantastic trees on site. The Lake on site too offers stunning sunrise and sunsets. I doubt very much there is a better location for a Holiday park anywhere. What we also noticed was the park owners have definately upped their game with the facilities. The dining and bar areas have been completely reconfigured and refurbished to a high standard and the larger on site gym now is a real plus. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival which always gets a holiday off to a good start. We ate in the on-site restaurant / Cafe a couple of times and the menu and food served were very good. The spa facilities are as good as anywhere in my opinion and my wife and I used them a few times during our stay. Sauna, steam room, Hot stone beds and a pool with massage stations within it. If you visit Brynteg you simply have to spend some time in the spa. I also feel compelled to comment on how well the grounds are maintained. We walked all over this vast site several times and I don’t think I saw a blade of grass that was not cut to almost bowling green standards. We had younger children with us too and they loved the place. The outside play area had been completely remodelled offering a really entertaining place for kids to spend an hour, and the pool, which admittedly is a small one, ticked a big box in keeping them entertained. There was only one small area which I think could have been improved upon. The Lakeside Boathouse building, which is in a stunning location and offers a bar, food and seating out into the lake itself. On two occasions within our 4 night stay there was no member of staff to serve drinks at around 7-8 pm. We may have dropped unlucky with staff shortages but this is one thing that I would suggest should be available at all times in the height of summer evenings. This though should in no way put anyone off Brynteg, as our overall opinion is a very high one indeed. It was great to come here again, it was a perfect family break, just what we needed. We will definately be back soon. Thanks to all concerned at the site who contributed to us having such a good time 👏👏👏”

“*Must read honest review* We booked this campsite without looking at the reviews first as all we wanted was somewhere to sleep at night. We booked two nights in one of the log pods and after the first night we've booked an additional night. When we first arrived the reception was closed but the email they sent us had all the information we needed. On the check in board it was easy to find our location and we knew exactly where to go. Once Sarah had arrived at 5pm we were already set and they made sure we have had everything we needed. Sarah, Calvin and the whole team were extremely helpful and so welcoming. The toilets and showers were absolutely spotless and the washing up area was also extremely clean. They provided the log pods with a BBQ and you could borrow a fire pit so you can have a nice relaxing fire at night time and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also loved the fact of the quiet time as it was so peaceful at night and the location also makes it even better as there is no traffic noise. There is a small shop at the reception that stocks all of the essentials you will need along with locally made items. The campsite is perfectly located for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the surrounding towns and villages.”

The campsite and facilities are spotlessly clean and in one of the most stunning areas of north Wales. The hot tubs are sheltered in private units and perfect for getting your van right next to. We will certainly be visiting again!”
