“Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is brilliant being so close to town and despite this our room was very quiet. The hotel is also decorated and presented. It looks amazing, and there is a lovely seating area with free use of a coffee machine. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It wasn't the biggest room, and keep in mind you need to live out of your suitcase and storage is very limited. There were a few too many cushions, which were very pretty but took up a lot of space! The spiral staircase down to our room was very tight and narrow, and if you have mobility issues, you may wish to mention when booking to get a room in another part of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, not cheap, but got loads of choice and was delicious! Really enjoyed our stay and we didn't want to leave. Also, having on-site parking was useful! O”

“We stayed here for work in the middle of winter. 4 adults and two dogs at a kids park but what a great little park it was. I can imagine for small kids it's excellent. You do need a car here as the nearest supermarket is a 4 klm round walk which I did do. While we were there it snowed and it was so pretty. Staff were excellent and attentive even in the middle of winter and at one point we were the only people staying in the resort. The house we had was on a lake and it was a nice view. The house had everything you needed. Decent sized rooms with a kitchen equipped with all you needed. The bathroom was nice and clean with a good shower. There was a bit of a draft under the doors but it was -7 degrees!! Food at the restaurant was good but over priced. The snack bar there was good quality and yes a little pricey also but good chips. All in all, it was a nice experience.”

“Unserious and disappointing ! I have been waiting for a refund for an overnight stay for 4 weeks now. My mother and I stayed in the hotel during the night of 23-24 July and checked out at 10.30 a.m. on 24 August. However, we were charged for two nights in the amount of 247€. I have already called the hotel several times and received confirmation from both the employee and the hotel Manager that the refund will be made promptly. A few mails and calls later = nothing happened. This is an absolutely unserious way of dealing with its guests and very disappointing! I will continue to report whether I have received my money back or not.”

“Beautiful place, clean house, but we had ants in the kitchen. Beds were decent quality, but rooms are small, same goes for the living quarters. House is advertised as 6p, but the living quarters is more suited for 4. We had some "struggles" to get the ventilation working in both the kitchen and the shower. Surroundings are perfect! Restaurants are nearby and bike lockers are conveniënt.”

“Great hotel en very friendly staff. The location was perfect for us, because it is just a few hundred meters from the centre of Valkenburg, were all the restaurants, bars and terraces are. On the other side it is just a few hundres meters from the "rodelbaan" (toboggan run), so perfect for us. The staff in the restaurant and reception is very nice. The rooms are ok (not very new, but clean and ok). The breakfast was also ok, but not special. We parked in the small parkinggarage from the hotel, which was very convenient because parking is limited in Valkenburg. It cost 9 euro per night. Great stay”

“The receptionist of this hotel (bold with glasses) is a total disrespetful person. We we had an emergency and I had to go to the toilet as the public one was crowded, when he asked to pay 1 euro to my wife meanwhile she was waiting for me at the lobby, plus another one for her if she wanted to go as well. We've felt treated worst than dogs. Unnaceptable lack of respect, empathy and bad modals. Never seen something similar in my life, specially in a country like the Netherlands. I really hope that this rating arrives to the hotel management as, for sure, they wouldn't like to have an employee who is putting at risk the reputation of the hotel”
