“We stayed for one night in December. The hotel was fully booked. We has a deluxe king room beach facing. You could not see any of the beach, you have a view of the car park and trees from your balcony. The balcony door wouldn’t lock. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The shower head fell off the shower wall, and could not be secured back on the wall due to the way it had been fixed to the wall originally. Location is great, and front desk were polite and friendly. This hotel is 100 times better than Langgura Baron Across the road, avoid that one”

“Magnificent. Is the first word I think of to describe this resort. Resort was completely built few years ago but only opened to customers early 2023. Room was very new and clean. Extremely comfy king bed. All facilities were awesome. Wife enjoyed the spa and massage. Ground Pool was modern, big, clean and have a great sea view. Didn’t try the sky pool as I have a 5yo with me. Easy access to beach. Kids club had friendly staffs and plenty of toys and drawing for the kids. Every staff was very friendly. Highlight for us was the breakfast buffet. The variety was amazing and tasted great too. Overall, worth every penny spent here. My daughter had so much fun that she was so sad on her last day. Will definitely be back for sure.”

“Beautiful place to stay. Room basic Estate 5 but loved the stay, but everything you needed. Toilet was an issue but mentioned at.rwxeptuon and it was sort straight away. Could not ask more.We had a family wedding to come to at the hotel. The staff are amazing nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend it for any wedding venue or just a stay. Irene to the manager was just great, so hard working. Thanks to all the team at Temple tree which totally made our stay.”

“It was a nice place to spend with family doing fun activities. Got swimming pool and atv to ride. For the room, it was good. Just the bathroom, the water pressure was too slow and quite troublesome when you have to take long time for a shower. Also there were too much flies and it's a nuisance to our bbq session. Surau provided which is for me quite good and comfortable. Overall experience, it just good.”

“We had a great time at Alamanda Villas. It was exactly the accommodation we have been looking for. Best place to come down and relax. We enjoyed so much the peace and quit there and the beautiful view of the veranda of our hilltop villa that we even stayed one night longer. So we were there for 6 days and we would liked to have stayed longer. But it wasn't just the villa and its location that impressed us. Thank you very much, dear Eddy! Your are a wonderful host! Without your great assistance and helpfulness and your valuable tips, our stay would only have been half as nice. Next time we'll be happy to come back!”

“The rooms are for true nature lovers as there can be lizards on the walls inside the room, not only the shower area. We also found a cockroach but the hotel provides a spray for them so we just had to remember that this is a place in the nature. Did not see it again, the staff sprayed everything really good after this so it was not an issue after this. The hotel itself is really nice, many plants, really beautiful pool. Very nice staff, the girl at the reception was so amazing and helpful.”

“Superb location, walking distance to all the major attractions - historic buildings, Alor Setar tower, Aman Sentral mall, convenience stalls, mini malls and chinatown food street. Service at lobby was good. Can opt for self service check-in kiosk too. Room was clean, large and modern as it was recently renovated. Own parking lot. Full amenities. But need to purchase toiletries if want to. Towels, kettle, coffee, cups, tissues, drinking water dispenser, hot shower, strong water pressure, ironing facilities, fridge, hair dryer, elevator, complimentary bottled drinking water.”

“Firstly- Hotel. Loved the room. The rest of the hotel and staff are great.The pool is quite small would be my only negative- however this did not impact our stay as we spent a lot of time at the beach which is less than 10mins walk away. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby so overall a very good hotel and location.”

“Located across Pantai Cenang main street. What's more to say? All shops and makan place is within walking distance, best part is no need to to find parking along the street! Rooms and surrounding compounds are clean and tidy. Aircond is good. Go for the new units with private pool; really private and the kids will sure love it if they are bored going to the beach.”

“Overall a very bad experience for us. The staff at the reception is rude and unwelcoming. They have no proper housekeeping for basic issues in the room like running hot water, floor mats. Bathrooms are smelly, there is no exhaust system and the water gets logged at all places. The towels were also torn. Reception takes a long time to pickup the phone and the hotel cafes close by 10.30PM. After that, we have no choice to order food within the hotel. Even after paying for the stay in advance they took a security deposit which kind of sets the tone of what to expect throughout the stay. We asked for housekeeping staff for getting the washroom cleaned which got dirty in the first place because of their cloggy drains but got no for an answer, on insisting they said we are sending someone but no one ever came. Would not recommend this hotel.”

“The hotel exterior and interior decoration is very pretty. Very spacious and clean room, the toilet is also surprisingly spacious. Room service is great, everything is tidied and arranged back when we return from our events, even our clothes and belongings. Other assistance from the front desk is also smooth. The bar outside may have a little noise heard in the room but it's fine since it stops in sleeping hours.”

“I loved my stay here. The rooms are very clean and neat. The balcony has a pretty view and the location of the motel is also quite convenient. They helped me book an island hopping trip too! I would highly recommend this place to all! They provide you with all kinds of assistance like a sunset cruise, renting vehicle and so on.”

“The rate for a basic room is a reasonable price and you do get very basic facilities/amenities, which is fine. What I did not expect however, is the amount of mould that surrounded the walls. The smell was so overwhelming that we got hit by it as soon as we stepped inside, so much so after only being in there for a few minutes I had a pounding headache. I understand that this is not the reception staff’s fault but it is unacceptable to have to pay extra to upgrade to a room that is not a hazard to your health because there were no other basic rooms left. I would definitely NOT be staying here again if I was ever in the area. The hotel really needs to address its policy of offering guests a free upgrade if the room in inhabitable as this is not the guests fault.”

“Paretto “Seaview” Hotel. Be very careful when booking your room here as many of the rooms do not have a view at all. I screwed this up and we got a dungeon facing a roofed-off, trash-strewn area at the back. The hotel itself is faded, unkempt, and shoddy. It’s like there has been no upkeep or maintenance at all since opening; it paint is peeling, furniture is old, and the reception looks like someone’s messy oversized storage cupboard. That being said - the staff were hospitable and helpful and while the facilities were sub-par, rooms were pretty clean. And the location, right opposite the Cenang Beach square is hard to beat. Lots to do, see, and eat in the area. This is a two-star hotel in a four-star location. Good for backpackers or those on a tight budget. I’d give it a miss for all other folks; there are better options in the area.”
