Come here just for the steaks if nothing else.”

I know maintenance ce has to be done, but would of been nice to know the pool is closed for maintenance before they took full payment t or dates advised on website or a discount given. Rather than the option of paying full fee at neighbouring pool to use, maybe organise a discount for guests. Also, you have to pay additional for a car park, if required, this is nor on your booking. Apart from this fantastic place to stay, right on the waterfront and walking distance to the cbd.”

“Great place to spend a few nights. We had a caravan site so can't speak to the cabins. The amenities are very clean and easily accessible from anywhere in grounds. The older blocks are by the camp kitchen with the newer ones close to reception. The camp kitchen has all sorts of appliances available including a older hot plate cook top. BBQs throughout the park. There is a large pool as well. Laundry facilities are available at each amenity block and they have a washer that takes card for $5/load. Everywhere was very clean. The staff here are excellent, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. They suggested various places to check out. You can't really walk anywhere from here but it's very quiet at night so it's a trade off. The only issue we had was the next site parking their Ute blocking ours on on our site, we had to continuously ask them to move it. Not the parks fault.”

“Really relaxing stay. Rooms were clean and well kept. Pool was clean and much appreciated at the end of the day after being beat down by the sweltering heat. Stayed in Room 132. Ask for a room in the back of the hotel facing the mountain / hill if you want a view in the morning while drinking coffee. Definitely would stay here again whenever passing through The Alice.”

“Absolutely fabulous venue but thr catering was very poor in my opinion. 3 day conference and the elderly lady walking round with a sour look on her face took the cake. Looked miserable I smiled and said hello a few times and no response lol Maybe she didn't like so many blackfellas there in the venue. Never had tea or coffee out long enough as soon as morning tea was over it was snapped up geez its only water. Blueberry almond cake was frozen and soooo dry. Honestly I just felt like it was over bearing service waiting to the second to pull off plastic like we were vultures. I give three stars for the spectacular venue. Staff could barely smile except the young guys were friendly the rest were rude as and cold as ice.”

“I arrived at airport after midnight. * I appreciated that when I called for the courtesy bus pickup, it arrived within 5 minutes. 👍 * i was happy with my accommodation 👍 * I enjoyed my buffet breakfast @ $30.. 👍 * I especially loved sitting poolside, and had access to cold beverages and food during the day. 👍 * I will look forward to being a return customer in the coming weeks. 🙌🏽 I WOULD SUGEST MANAGEMENT To Please: * offer guests courtesy bottled water on check in at reception. They had an empty water jug in my room, but I never drink water unless I know it’s been well managed and sealed. 👎 (It was SO Hot and Humid & I was in NEED of water and had not a drop) Also something to be mindful of IF you are reading this review: The room I stayed in was upstairs and there was NO LIFT. 👎 I am mature age, so lugging my suitcase up the stairs was a tad exhausting after a 18 hours of travel. (temp 33/humidity at 89 percent at after midnight 🥵) If The manager reads this .. probably will say “Thank you” for your positive feedback and we will look into your suggestion’s.. Time For Action in my opinion🙃. You basically go to reception to book in & Then you have to fend for yourself. My room was 1) A descent distance away from reception 2) Room not easy to find (3) I then had to get up stairs on my own. I personally would suggest they trouble shoot this “big inconvenient issue” with a courtesy buggy ride to room with courtesy water. This could easily be rectified with golf buggy shuttle to your room. All in All: A good location, Good/friendly service Clean room Good value when I travelled 🤗”

We were there over the wet season and it was really nice as there were not so many people at the hotel! The towels need an upgrade though! too old 🙊🥲…..it was a good thing I always pack my own!”

“The room was ok, clean. Would have been almost perfect if the staff that was cleaning in the morning wouldn't yelled at each others in the coridor like maniacs. And knock on doors and yell goooood morning, breakfast !!! At 730/8 am. I was tired and was hoping to be able to relax in the morning but apparently those ladies had another plan for me. Despite this very inconsiderate behaviour the motel is great and the location isnt too bad”
