“Our stay was so amazing! We were in one of the Bayside rooms for labor day weekend. The poolside bar was awesome, they had a live guitarist and the bar also served food. Prices were very reasonable. The front desk staff provided us with daily breakfast vouchers, a voucher for two free glasses of wine, and complimentary beach chairs. The golf cart driver (Pineapple) was super nice too bringing us to the beach! We would definitely stay again 100%.”

“The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was a used teabag sitting on the desk in a black container. That was beyond disgusting. I placed it in the trash, then proceeded to wash my hands. That's when I noticed there was no soap in the soap dish... okay, no big deal. I went downstairs to ask for a bar of soap. The little lady there wasn't smiling at all. She wasn't welcoming at all. It's her right to frown and act all tough, but this isn't the industry for that kind of behavior. We all have problems of our own, but we still have to remain professional at work. I bet she wouldn't be happy if someone treated her just like she treated guests (not just me). Nothing gets me more frustrated than horrible attitudes. I've worked in the service industry and I would never not make a customer feel welcomed. Some people drive hours or days to get to your hotel. The least you could do is fake a smile or say hi. Anyway, got to my room, washed my hands and realized the drain wasn't working. You had to wait minutes for the water to drain out completely. At this point, I was beyond frustrated, but I was only going to stay for a night, so I'll just power through. Well, so I thought. Come to find out the AC controls weren't designed for me to regulate them to my desired temperature. Maybe it was faulty? You change the temperature and it snaps right back to 74°F! I battled with the controls on both the actual unit and the wall mounted controller for minutes. I eventually, I gave up and went to bed. I got up the next morning and couldn't wait to leave. Oh, breakfast was like plastic too. I didn't mind it at all. It's good they offer breakfast, free parking, and free coffee. I'm grateful for that. Elevators worked and the general areas were clean. Thanks to a friendly guy I saw cleaning. The lady supervising breakfast was very nice too... deserving of an award. This is the last time I'm staying here. I love Hilton, but nope. Never again. I have pictures of the sink. Don't bother replying to my review. Nothing will ever change my mind about this place.”

“We came to stay for Ocean City Winterfest this year and this place was just a 3 minute want away. We got to avoid all the crazy traffic and trying to find a place to park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very neat and clean. All amenities were available even in off season, this can be an issue at other locations this time of year. The included breakfast was also amazing. We would stay here again for sure.”

“I stayed at the hotel after a party that was hosted on-site planning to go to work the following morning from the hotel. I got woken up by the building fire alarm at 1 AM. There didn't appear to be a fire anywhere in the building so who knows if it was a false alarm from someone pulling a switch or shoddy maintenance of the fire protection system. The broken knob on my room's bathroom door has me leaning towards poor maintenance. The room was clean at least. The bed was nice but the pillows were pancakes that only look fluffy until you lay on them.”

“Really enjoyed this hotel! It definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean and the staff was really friendly. The toilet is in a separate space than the shower (which is great is you're traveling with someone- especially a family). They made a cute decoration with the toilet tissue; added a little flare. My only complaint would be that the toilet room and the shower room does NOT have locks on the doors. Even though they have some really cute sliding doors, it would be nice to be able to lock them for a little added privacy. If it was an option, I would have taken off a hard star, but I would definitely go back where I'm in the area!”

“Booked a “hot tub” room and was INCREDIBLY disappointed!!!! Not only was the tub small - but there was paint that had been leaking from the upper floor into our bathroom and onto a toilet paper roll and all over the floor. It’s a shame because this was supposed to be a birthday getaway…..”

“The ladies in the office were super nice. The location was right on the boardwalk. We did have to go on the side street to get to the boardwalk or walk up a flight of steps(or use elevator) to be able to get to the boardwalk from the inside of the front building. The parking is horrendous, they have very limited parking. The small garage spaces under their building could not accommodate our vehicle. The tub had mold and water buildup beneath the tub under the liner. It felt like you were showering on a waterbed. This hotel prioritizes timeshares so we had to move rooms for our second night stay. When leaving you have to strip the linens from the bed and place them in the bathroom and take out your trash when you leave. Overall I will not stay there again. To charge $300.00 (non refundable)a night, I didn’t get anything but inconvenience.”

“This was a vacation we will never forget. The Tiki bar was absolutely amazing, tell Kristi we said hey if you stop in. The arcade rooms were a little outdated, but don't let that ruin anything. There is so much more to do. Swimming pool/Gym are on the 22nd floor with an amazing view. The sauna wasn't working properly but we got a good workout in the gym then pool with an awesome view. All in all i have to give this place 5 stars no complaints.”

“Yes it's not exactly ocean front but the price was so reasonable and would stay again. The pool was clean and not overcrowded and was neat with the color changing lights at night time. The was clean and beds were comfy. During the car show/cruise it awesome to just sit along the sidewalk and watch them cruise past.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Ocean City! We stayed in a cabin for a week in July and had an awesome time. When we checked in the cabin was spotless. They do a great job cleaning and maintaining everything. The cabin is a nice size and the screened in porch was our favorite part. They have cabins and two hotels. The pool is really nice and the water temperature was perfect. There's a playground and some open field space for activities. The property backs onto Herring Creek which is an awesome view. I took some videos and pictures with my drone while I was there and the whole surrounding area is beautiful. This place is kind of far from the beach and boardwalk, but you can drive to the Park and Ride nearby and ride the bus back and forth for free. Beach Bum West-O is an awesome place to stay with great staff and a great property. We'll definitely be back!”
