“Peace & Relax!!! The best place to calm down, detox and rehabilitation... I was impressed by the landscape as soon we arrived! I immediately "lower speed" of my brain and in a couple of hours I felt my body and soul in total harmony. The food in the restaurant was always fresh with high quality ingredients. Last, the combination of local Muskateller wine with the view of the wine yards is a sense to remember... Thank you Andreas & Michaela for this creation!!!”

“Just returned after staying for a week. The location couldn't be better, sat opposite the main gondola. The food was spot on - great quality and plenty of choice. The staff are also brilliant - they are friendly, attentive and really helpful. Having boarded in Austria several times in the past, I echo some of the other comments in saying this is way more that a 3* hotel and the food, staff and rooms are better than some of the 4/5* places I have stayed before.”

“Located in the center of the town - 10 minutes from the ski slopes. The receptionist (who seems to be the hotel manager) only speaks German and don't expect to be treated kind or to apologise after even such a big mistake as mixing up rooms and reservations. The whole facility is around 40 years old as I assumed and the lack of proper maintenance and renovation starts to show both on the interior and the furniture. The restaurant is good yet really basic in terms of the offered meals. It is not the hotel you'd imagine to be 4 star.”

“We went there on July 2023. The place was recommended by the hotel nearby. What’s great evening. The terrasse in the wine yard is just outstanding. The staff is very friendly and makes everything possible to help you. We recommended the various ham and cheese from the region. You can ask also a small glass of each local wine. Served in pots they make a perfect wine tasting. Highly recommended place.”

“I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Kölblwirt. Their menu is diverse, serving regional dishes and has plenty of vegetarian options. The soup, main course (grilled beef), and dessert were all exceptional. As for the service, it is way more five stars, due to the staff and chef exceptional kindness and friendliness. Several nearby places that were supposed to be open were unexpectedly closed, and one had a private function. With nowhere else open on a Sunday, I reached out to Gasthof Kölblwirt, even though their kitchen typically closed at 19:30. When I called, they said I could come, even though it was past the kitchen closing time. Despite my late arrival, they warmly welcomed me. I'm truly grateful for a delicious meal after a long day of hiking. Thank you for being hospitable and making me a memorable meal.”

“Boutique hotel that is full of amenities. The terrace with the pool has a beautiful view of the city. Our room was spacious with a coffee machine. The gym was among the best that I’ve seen at a boutique hotel in Europe. The bar was open late so we enjoyed drinks with friends there later in the evening. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. It also is an art hotel so there are interesting works of art throughout. It’s a 5 min walk to the city center and right by the funicular up to the top of the hill with beautiful views.”

“We had a very nice stay there. Breakfast is really great! We arrived in the morning and got the chance to still have breakfast despite it was late for that. Fresh juices, smoothies, vegetables, fresh fruit salat, many different kind of breads and so on. Staff is really friendly! Room has a good size! You can feel they do their job with love e.g. by handing over a small present for our baby or by offering fresh apples etc.”

We ate in the garden which is very comfortable and quiet despite the proximity to the road. Murauer Braumeistergulasch vom Jungrind der Familie Weilharter was delicious 😋 I was surprised how frankfurter match with goulash Kräftige Tafelspitz suppe mit Frittaten is also worth trying. I strongly recommend!”
