“We had pitch with its own bathroom incl. Shower, basin and toilet. The general facility lower block had small shower cubicles with nowhere to put dry things. Pitch was a reasonable size but up a bit of a slope. The lower pool was open but the weather too cool to swim. Pools higher up were closed and the facilities on that level newer with larger showers. Maintenance isn’t a strong point. We reported a leaking washing up and laundry sink outside our bathroom and it wasn’t fixed during our stay. We noticed that most of the sinks outside the bathrooms on pitches leaked. The tap on the adjacent wash up was broken. We paid E5 extra per night for the bathroom and wash up area and expected them to be fully functional.”

“Historic hotel: You get what you pay (low price, low standard) though acceptable value: outdoor pool, breakfast and parking included. In hot days also AC (central only from 13-4am). Facade looks horrible and the furniture gets you back to 1980 or so. They really need an investor but the whole Montecantini area seems to have over capacity as even it's high season August, all rates all over are low. Rooms okay but old (renewed floor) Breakfast just one word: skip it! Just okay for one night if you need to stay in the area...”

“We had with the Family a great time there, and enjoyed the beautiful experience. The Place has its own gardens where they grow their own vegetables, honey & fruits. A full farm with animals that you can visit. The property is huge that it has its own Forest that you can walk around and enjoy it at day or night, even having a lot of sitting spots, on road or tree or cliff. Rooms are luxurious and spacious. The food in there is just excellent, the quality, ingredients, and taste. Food is done by marvellous Chefs who put a lot to present the food in the best way. Just for example, there Pizza is the BEST pizza i had in Italy 🇮🇹. Service & Hospitality is outstanding, kind helpful people that will do anything to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant. “This is a Relais & Chateau, and the staff is as responsive as this expects, particularly Cinzia & Francesca. Rooms are nice if a bit dated. Pool area is good. Spa has a whirlpool, jacuzzi, and wet & dry saunas available on request but monitored to ensure they’re not too busy. Dining was excellent. I am celiac/gluten-free and staff ensured I was kept safe. Beach facility is a short shuttle ride (on request) from the hotel. All is nicely laid out and ready. It was a bit reduced by the lateness in the season. Spa is excellent. We enjoyed a massage and other services. We would do this again. We would visit again.”
