“Nobody was in reception when I arrived there at night. I needed ask help with a sir there that contacted by phone the hotel manager and they unlocked an emergency key room. Today, it was the same case to may check-out which nobody was at the reception to receive the key. The room quality is good and big, the same to the breakfast . The problem of this hotel is the terrible assistance. Also, they will take money for you pay the towel. If it’s necessary to pay, the information should be included on Expedia. I do not recommend it!”

“Beautiful, well-kept small complex consisting of 6 terraced houses, each with 2 spacious residential units, each with a terrace or large balcony. We were there in August. The pool and the large climbing frame are ideal for the children. Due to rainy weather and 16-18°C, we adults were too cowardly to go in :-) There isn't much going on in Allrode itself, but you can reach the main attractions and hiking routes in 30 minutes by car. So everything is great. Baker and corner shop on site. The following tips from us: - We were missing a vacuum cleaner in the apartment. Within a week with children and a dog, the floor quickly becomes dirty, - The mattresses are more than soft, rather saggy, so that you wake up in the morning with back pain and should be replaced as soon as possible.”

“It’s a small walk up a hill from traditional wine-town of Freyburg, and the views of the Unstrut river, the Edelacker Terraces and the valley itself are stunning. The Weingut itself is set in an old Monastery and it is a wonderful place to sit and have a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. The staff are very friendly and make sure that you have any questions answered… which resulting in tasting a lot of beautiful wine. Speaking of wine - the wines are exceptional - particularly, for me, the GG varieties of Riesling, Weissburgunder and Grauburgunder. However, there are plenty of interesting and different varieties to try in the shop - including Regent and Blauer Zweigelt. I thoroughly recommend visiting Weingut Pawis for a perfect introduction into the serious and beautiful wines that Saale-Unstrut produce. If you’ve never tried a wine from this region before - you will not be disappointed.”
