“Nice and clean parc. The kids really like the small natural swimming lake and the indoor swimming pool. You must know, that the parc is directly in the middle of nowhere, but no problem if you are here with car. The sea with nice beaches e.g. in Makkum are reachable in approx. one hour. The houses are a bit old, but clean and nice. We really liked this place.”

“We rented a tent hotel on their property from Tent-OK. The campground was easy find. It was very clean, inc the bathrooms, showers, and wash stations. They have an indoor pool, tennis courts, trampolines, ping pong, a rec ctr, cafe, and bar. Thursday night BINGO was fun and with many prizes. There are a variety of camping options on site too. We will definitely come back when we're back in the area.”

“Beautiful holiday park with an amazing nature. You have a beautiful lake close to you porch and there are plenty of biking and hiking activities around. Couple of Cons : 1- the house seemed very outdated and the kitchen items could be improved ( for couple of days I didn’t mind) 2- there are construction work close by, so you should be careful that your bungalow is not close to construction work.”

“After many years, about 38, we decided to spend our New Year's Eve elsewhere, given our last experiences at De Wiltzangh in Ruinen. After a mistake by central, we booked Velthorst 4 and were given a very luxurious house 416 without any consultation. Pets were not allowed in this house, while we were with two Dachshunds. The lighting in this house works poorly, bed linen was not available despite agreements and payments, a wet towel in the package, a lot of noise from some kind of pump and a lot of noise during rain showers on the zinc roof in the bedroom. Because of this noise pollution, we slept on the couch in the room because you didn't hear the rain there. Asked several times why we had received a different house, but never received an answer, neither from Apeldoorn or Ruinen. Lots of mud on the access paths, which could have been prevented with a load of rubble. Although this park is fireworks free, the explosions could be heard very clearly from very close by. It is possible that residents of the park set off fireworks on the nearby public road. Many paths were also not illuminated in the evenings despite the installed lampposts. The booking for 2024/2025 Heidelodge has been incorrectly displayed in the system several times, namely arrival December 30, 2025 and departure January 3, 2025. I also complained about this and this would be corrected, but unfortunately in January 2024 the above dates were still in the system. In short, a big disappointment and unfortunately no answers to questions from Apeldoorn or Ruinen. We will be looking for another location during New Year's Eve 2024/2025. We were used to things differently all these years. For us, De Wiltzangh Ruinen is over.”
