My grandson unfortunately fell of his bike, within minutes an ambulance was called, he was taken with his mother to a hospital where he received the best possible treatment. When given the all clear at 1o'clock in the morning two staff members drove 30 minutes to collect them both to save us packing up our camping car. What more could you possibly ask for. Will definitely be returning soon.”

“We went to Bistro Saint Claire with high hopes and on recommendation but we’re sadly disappointed. The staff was pleasant enough and the space was nice but that’s where it ended. Our cocktails tasted watered down, the apps were bland and dinner was not at all what we expected. The risotto was nothing special and the beef was so tough and stringy it was a challenge to chew it. We both left half our dinners on our plates and were made to feel somewhat bad by the waiter for not finishing, which was by choice. For all the hype and price this place misses the mark.”

“We were there in July in order to visit Mont Saint-Michel. We had a tent pitch which was fine, close to a big tree which gave some cover from the sun. We weren't close to the electric points but that wasn't a problem. The service block was close to the main building but not too far away and in good condition. For dinner we went to a local restaurant which was great but there aren't many other options (in walking distance) or shops near the campsite. We made our own dinner the 2nd evening. The campsite is surrounded by farms and has some animals you can visit on site. Overall it's a good campsite for visiting Mont Saint Michel. Seasonova is a chain of campsites so there may be some benefits for regular visitors.”

“A hotel low light to me, sorry folks. As someone else remarked already, the pictures on their website give you a wrong impression of the hotel. I am sure it had its charme at a time, but right now, besides the one brand new appartment they feature, everything else needs a makeover. It is absolutely over-priced for what it is, too. Our room smelt and felt humid, the bed sheets were dirty, the toilet dated back to the 80s with no possiblity to air or ventilate. Furniture was randomn (the bathroom was new in turn). We had room number 1 on the groundfloor close to the entrance at 268 EUR, you can get a much different standard for this elsewhere. The rest of the building is dark, there is dust, spider webs in your room and in public spaces. The outside is what I would call cluttered. Some really nice and quality installations next to artificial lawn, design lamps, non-fitting chairs, rotten wooden chairs and bridges in the garden, a tent, a trailer, more artificial lawn. The restaurant was the highlight, its interior definitely has a charme and is better than the rest. Staff are nice there too and food is good. Again over-priced for what it is, but good.”

“I have mixed fillings about this hotel. It’s a beautiful historic building, location and water view are great. The rooms however are outdated, bedsheets were very old, you can tell they’ve washed a million times. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast first morning was great, everything super fresh, unfortunately the second morning we were served old croissants and had to wait for coffee forever. There’s also a restaurant which we went to on the first night. Food was ok, nothing great. However what we didn’t like that our server was adding portions to our table because she thought 1 wouldn’t be enough to share. We ordered a cheese plate from the menu, but got charged for two, one was more than enough for us. Couple people from the staff were extremely helpful and nice, the rest was just there, maybe due to language barrier.. Overall those things didn’t add up to a 5 star experience. This hotel is far from 5 star. As much as we liked the location we won’t be back.”
