“I stayed here last night due to a snowstorm coming in. I work in Naperville but reside in Oak Lawn and didn’t want to deal with the morning commute. Upon walking inside, I was greeted by one gentleman and another, named Omar. I felt out of place at first because I’m usually a 3 star hotel gal but decided I needed to treat myself. Omar almost immediately was able to change that and made me feel very welcomed and more confident about my decision. When I walked into the room, it looked exactly like the pictures online. My first thing that had to be done was getting a nice bath and it has been a while since I felt that relaxed. I was going to order room service but was very limited on what I could get so I ordered food from a delivery company which wasn’t a hassle to have delivered to the desk. I liked how you could turn all the lights off with one button while exiting, or turn them on when coming inside the room. Literally my only complaint is the bed was too hard for me personally so I only got 3 hours of sleep. The pillows were so comfy, I liked the duvet, but the bed I just had an issue with and couldn’t get comfortable no matter what. If the beds were a little softer, I’d probably consider staying again when I decide to treat myself. But I definitely recommend staying here if that’s not an issue for you!”

“Mostly everything is great except the breakfast and the Internet. The breakfast buffet actually costs money, but it's the exact same products and quality as every other holiday inn's free breakfast buffet. No one would spend $13 on cold boxed watery scrambled eggs. The Internet is so slow that I had to download my 1 page word document from one drive because it kept disconnecting and I couldn't edit it. That download also took over 20 minutes! Aside from that, the rooms are clean, the entrance is nice and grand, there is ample parking, the staff are super nice, and the location is convenient.”

“I’m highly disappointed in the front desk, concierge. They were so rude over the phone. My birthday is tomorrow and I was really look to booking. I called because the website lets you review room and check availability. I called and spoke with the agent. When I inquired about booking she mentioned an application prior to. I said okay and started to ask about the membership cost because I didn’t see it online and that it allowed me to start the booking process. She interrupted me while I completing my sentence. I asked if I was able to book without the membership, she hangs up the phone. I called back. She answers with “Hold please”. I’ve waited and the. She ask did I need , I began to explain my birthday is tomorrow 9/29 and if there was the membership cost. She interrupts me again stating “It’s on the website did you read it?” And responded with “And I just said I didn’t see the membership cost, did you hear me?” I will take my $350 come where else. That lady was just rude. I don’t understand how when I’m about to spend my hard earned money. Smh I’m pissed”

“Overpriced for the location with little amenities - no free water! Overall, check in was seamless and staff are very responsive. The property was clean with plenty of free parking (nice perk). The lounge is closed on the weekend - I’ve experienced this throughout this year in different locations, get it together Marriott. No issues with the room or beds. I found everything to be fine and had no issues with the bed. Rooms were very clean upon arrival. I get annoyed when you stay at a 4-5 star hotel and they do not offer free water - this should be standard across the board. They did offer a breakfast buffet in lieu of the lounge being closed and it was okay. Standard eggs, bacon, and potatoes with pastries. You don’t get amenities for the rate they charge. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND and you would probably get the same or better at a 3 star in the same neighborhood.”

“Our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites was great! The room was clean and spacious. We were near the soda machines and ice maker and we never heard others in the hallway using them. The location to everything was perfect; very convenient. The breakfast was nice and varied; I did find some egg shells in my eggs one morning but that happens sometimes when real eggs are used. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely stay here again on any future trips to the area.”

“We did the park, sleep and fly with this hotel and it worked out perfectly. The employees were all friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. Roomy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The rate was super reasonable for the three weeks that we were away. The shuttles to and from the airport were timely and efficient. Easy all around. We will definitely be using this hotel in the future for our trips.”

“Pleasantly surprised after checking in. Coffee and cookies in lobby and a dinner was being served for guests. The rooms were spacious with a refrigerator and single serve coffee. Modern bathrooms with all amenities except lotion. Kleenex box had 2 tissues in it, so ran out. All was very clean except top of the headboard was dusty. Nothing major. Definitely will stay here again. Great value and friendly staff.”

“Best weekend with family ever! It rained the entire time. The kids played outside 2/3 of the time, we had a fire, made s’mores, went for a hike in the woods, saw some crazy wild animals, the kids fished and got muddy and wet and cold and we had so much food and a very good time was had by all!!! No drama, just fun! The cabins were clean and had everything we needed except coffee and filters. Even a hotel room has that. We had a front porch and a back porch completely covered and latticed in so we were mostly protected from the weather and sat out there a lot visiting with cousins. Our only cons were: 1)mud. A little more gravel would go a long way 2)Our bedding smelled so strongly of chemical flowers I could barely stand it. My cousins wife slept on the couch with her own blanket and her husbands T shirt over a pillow. No more scent beads needed!!! And yeah, that’s about it. Seriously, we were surprised at how perfect the situation was. We had… 7 cabins in all and we had enough room for everyone to gather and yet separation if needed. The trails were awesome! We would definitely go back! Thank you so much!!!”

“Each of the front desk employees I encountered were helpful and courteous. We arrived early and they were very kind when arranging to hold our luggage. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We did try out the hotel restaurant when in need of a quick bite to eat. Food was pretty standard, it gets the job done. There are conveniently located bus and train stops nearby, making trips into the city easy and affordable. Stayed here for an event at the United Center, which was within walking distance. Hotel is a bit pricey but I figure just about any place near the city would be as well. All in all I enjoyed the stay.”
