“We were fortunate enough to find the Woodman Inn for our wedding in December 2023. We had a first class experience from start to finish. Our events manager Kieran was so accommodating- if you're looking for a relaxed and flexible venue then look no further. The staff team were incredible- every single one of them. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guests spoke so highly of their experience- from the rooms, to the food and everything in between. The catering was excellent- tailored to dietary requirements without any fuss. The location is perfect- tucked away without being in the middle of nowhere. Our day was seamless, everything was so well organised and we didn't need to worry about a thing. If we could get married again, we would choose The Woodman without hesitation. What a place!”

“I have stayed a few times here. Nicely situated to walk into Holmfirth nice clean toilet and shower block. Nice little play area, little fishing pond, shop. The only thing I would like to see is power hook ups in quiet field. It is a good site for children, and they need to blow off steam and have fun!! But of you want to be in the quiet area, there is no hook up.”

“I attended a wedding. The staff were fantastic. Bar staff amazing! Considering the manic environment of the reception and partying. I was overawed by their consideration of my gluten intolerance. They made sure I didn't miss out on the meal or buffet. The food was incredible. I then returned the following day and had a carvery Sunday lunch before travelling. That too was well attended so must be popular. Very good value for money.”
