“Stayed at the Pullman for one night as part a business trip. Really wonderful rooms and handy location right next to the airport! Rooms themselves were really comfy and spacious. There was amply sheets, towels and amenities. Rooms were modern, and super clean and tidy. Staff on arrival were friendly, professional and helpful. Was checked in in no time at all! Staff at the bar was even helpful enough to let me try the Prosecco before ordering a glass for my room. One of the best features of the Pullman is its location to the airport. I had a business dinner the night of my stay. I simply drove my hire car back in the evening for return and walked over to the Pullman. Would happily stay here again.”

“Initially we were accommodated in a dorm for 6 people, but luckily we were able to switch to a single room. The room was occupied by long-term residents and was unfortunately very untidy. We felt very uncomfortable because of the messiness and we could tell from previous reviews that this problem wasn't just ours. In contrast, we were very satisfied with the single room. It was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the bathrooms were never dirty and were cleaned often, which we liked a lot. Overall, the hostel is very nice, the outdoor area is cozy and you have a great view of the Brisbane skyline. The only thing that bothered us was that we often smelled weed because apparently some people smoke weed here. We don't know if this is always the case, but we've certainly noticed it. Nevertheless, all in all we are satisfied with the hostel, especially because you can get to the city quickly.”

“Although the room was clean and the service friendly. I was bombarded with noise from a privately owned apartment above me who was renovating their bathroom for the first 3 hrs i was there, to the point I had to complain about it to reception. The door to the bathroom was hanging off so I had to fix it myself with a knife to screw it back on. The toilet roll holder popped off the wall just from taking paper off so I had to put it back on . Also while having a shower, the tap handle came off mid shower which I had to do my best to fix. I had previously stayed at Central Brunswick apartments with no troubles which was why I booked there again this time. But it needs obvious maintenance in the loft room I was in and it would be nice in future not to have to put up with deafening repair work by private room owners. Overall, I slept well and it was clean but would have to take things into consideration if I chose to stay again. Not rushing to recommend unfortunately.”
