Camp sites well maintained. Would definitely recommend this caravan park as a perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The meals at the Park Hotel are exceptional also.”

“During our stay on a motorhome site, we noticed that the ground was not entirely flat, causing water to pool in one side of the shower and sink. However, the amenities were fantastic! Showers and toilets were very clean and we used the laundry facilities and clotheslines. Although the overall cost was a bit higher than other options in the area, the location was unbeatable and it was the only available option at the time. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a lovely experience.”

“Paid a little extra for a “private room” for our one night stay. The room itself is a side room to a main dorm, and had no air conditioning. The room was dirty, the beds were unmade on arrival and the mattresses were severely worn down. The door to our “private room” didn’t close due to the bed getting in the way and so noise was an issue all night. One shared bathroom amongst 10 people as reception and communal facilities also shut down at 9pm, at which point it turns into what is basically a run down Motel -Room toilets were also pretty sub-standard. Staff were good for the most part but no apology when we told them our beds were still dirty from previous occupants. Entertainment facilities are good, with a pool table and table-tennis table and a nice pool area, so this was a plus. Overall, I appreciate you get what you pay for with a hostel but after staying at dozens of others up and down the east coast, this is comfortably the worst one I’ve stayed at. Would recommend steering clear if you can.”

“Stayed 4/09/23 for 2 nights Paid $210 per night for king room upstairs. Nice and clean, but not worth $210 a night. Realised at bed time it was actually two single beds pushed together, and the hump in the middle made it uncomfortable to cuddle up with hubby. Would've asked for another room, but they were fully booked according to the sign out front. Was horrified to find the milk in the fridge was actually long life, so had to buy our own milk (yes our choice). My biggest complaint is there was NO WiFi or pay TV...... Was a lovely quite room”

“Stayed 3 nights at this lovely caravan park right next to the river. Facilities were adequate and clean. Very handy, as just a short walk, to the quaint township of Brunswick Heads that has all the shops and service we needed. Surrounding areas were quite scenic, with lots as beautiful sites to view, including the beach and headlands. Would recommend to others.”

“Best place we stayed in Byron. We booked a Deluxe Loft room and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The full kitchen was great as was the living area. My only criticism would be the leather lounge was quite tired and needed replacing. The pool was nice and warm. We used the communal washing machine and dryer which were very handy. The free parking underneath the hotel was great also. The location is excellent being, unsurprisingly, central to everything!”
