“Booked a spa, dinner, bed and breakfast for my partners birthday. Everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern and the bed was so comfortable. The spa was great. Perfect temperature as a good spa should be, and the pool wasn't cold! The outside hot tub was great, even with the October temperatures. The food was lovely, dinner was cooked perfectly and the cleanest Scottish breakfast. No grease on the plate! and lastly, the staff could not do enough for you. It has a true Scottish feel throughout. We would recommend 👌”

“This place is so good. With a little more attention, it could be exceptional! Location and facilities are amazing. You have about 6 miles of single track road to get there, but once you are it is so worth it. We stayed in the hotel and the room was stunning inside and lots of extras. The view from the room was to die for. Food was amazing, it is top quality ingredients being used and that is obvious. The not so good and what stops this being a 5 star review. Customer service - It is not there. When we arrived, there were a lot of families booking in, but there was only one person booking everyone in. He also did not know all the right times for checking out. It meant people were standing in a queue for so long. There were a lot of staff going about, but they were ignoring the guests and the queues. When we were in the restaurant, the staff would never look at you for fear of being asked to help. Heads were down and no eye contact made. It was so difficult to get their attention to get a drink, we ended up getting up ourselves and went to the bar and got two drinks! Communication is the other low point. The best example is that there are adverts over the complex about Afternoon Tea. We decided on the Saturday morning at breakfast that we would book it for the afternoon. We were then told you had to give them a minimum of 24 hours notice. That is detailed nowhere. If they had that on the signs, we could have booked in advance. This just seemed really poor. No real apology or attempt to appease us either which was a shame. We did have a really good time and as I said it is an amazing place. Up the comms and the customer service and it will be phenomenal!”

“We had a perfectly delightful stay at Ilse of Mull Hotel & Spa! What a view of the south east coast of Mull. The Eileen I suite was beautifully designed and spacious yet cozy. Clean hot tub on the patio was relaxing in the rain. The spa amenities steam room, mud room, sauna were clean and refreshing. The fairie garden walk along the coast was a bonus! Will definitely be back”

“Lovely site with beautiful views. Staff very friendly. My main complaint was the toilets and showers. It felt as though they were never cleaned. Always dirty, toilets filthy. Showers were dirty / muddy due to the weather. I’ve stayed at many other sites and found them far cleaner. If they had more regular cleaning I would give a five star. Cleaning lets it down. A couple told me they are only cleaned once a day if that. The four days I was there I never saw a cleaner. Please fix this as other than that you have a lovely site.”
