We have a car so find it easy to drive to a local supermarket & into town but the 2km walk along the lake promenade is beautiful. “I first visited this hotel back in 2017 and was so impressed I vowed to return as soon as I could. We stayed last week for 5 nights and once again it was very good but I didn’t feel the same vibe; maybe as it was peak season. The highlights are the staff, who are incredible attentive and friendly and the pool. On arrival we were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks and there were rose petals laid on the bed. These little touches really add to you feeling welcomed. Breakfast is extensive but you do have to pick what you want from a large menu the day before. This can be a bit annoying as you don’t know what you’ll fancy in the mornings. Dinner was nice but heavily seafood orientated. Service was excellent as ever. You get a surprise snack around the pool everyday which is a lovely touch. Although, I couldn’t help but compare it to previously where there was a pool service and the staff regularly checked to see if you wanted a drink and would bring out complimentary olives, for example. This time it lacked a bit of that and I guess it was because of it being busier. That is not to detract from the hard working staff though; if you needed anything there was also someone around to ask. The pool is very nice, with whirlpool areas and we easily spent all day there. Unfortunately, it is next to a road and as it was peak season it was rather loud. I’m sure before they used to leave the waterfall feature running and that blocked out some of the noise. This time you had to press a button and it only comes on for around 15 seconds. There are plenty of beds and there was never a rush to secure one. However, this does mean the beds are a bit cramped and bunched together. I would suggest the hotel looks at changing the decking though; it is looking a bit tired and worn now and it gets ridiculously hot in the sun. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower. The shower head did need cleaning though as some of the holes were blocked and water sprayed in numerous directions. There is a window between the bathroom and bedroom… so if you and your partner aren’t that close that may be a problem. We weren’t overly keen on being able to see the other on the toilet. The wooden flooring could use a refresh as it is looking a bit outdated now. There was a distinct lack of sockets too; none by the bed! There is a minibar but it only had two bottles of water in and was never refilled. There is a kettle and coffee etc but no milk. There was no iron or ironing board and reception didn’t offer one either. They give you dressing gowns but they were extremely crisp to the point of being exfoliating. Weirdly they didn’t offer any slippers which would have been nice. They do give flip flops but the sizes just don’t work and they aren’t comfortable. They do offer a laundry service but we like to use an iron/board as and when we need it. It’s also worth noting it’s not an adults only hotel. I had assumed (for some reason; maybe because last time I didn’t see any) that it was but there were several families with teenagers and a young child. I definitely think it detracted from the ethos of being a boutique relaxation hotel and spa. There was plenty of parking for private vehicles and the town of Garda is just down the road. It’s about a 15 minute walk. They do offer cycles at the hotel but with how busy the main road was we didn’t want to risk it. I believe they also offer a shuttle service. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel with staff that really make it an enjoyable stay. If I was to return it would have to be off season and adults only.”

“We just had the most wonderful week at this hotel. I kept thinking I had got something wrong with the price because it seemed so reasonable for 5 star treatment. The view alone from the terrace was ridiculously beautiful. The breakfast each morning was amazing with so much healthy choice and such great service form the staff. The chef does an evening meal which was so excellent that we just couldn't risk going anywhere else so we stayed there every night. There's a set menu which changes daily, it's not expensive and we felt it was like fine dining. Sitting there at night with a bottle of wine, that view and this five course meal was unbeatable. Away from the busy town but close enough to walk there, this hotel is a little gem. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely pool that was never too busy, just a few guests here and there through the day. We even had a massage and sauna. I honestly felt renewed and will definitely visit again. We felt like the staff make you their friend while you're there, nothing is too much trouble and they are super kind and welcoming. I was sad to leave this wonderful place. Thank you Capri. XXXX”

“What a Fab Aparthotel! Only a short walk into town. Guaranteed parking space. Staff are so kind, Nicole was fantastic with our kids! Accommodation has everything you need to cook a basic meal but there is a restaurant on site which you get 10% off if you are eating in. But you can also order food and drink to your room so you basically have room service too! They have a washer and dryer which include detergents so no need to buy anything (€6 per wash, €2 per 10min dry). The pool is small but nice with sun loungers. The restaurant has limited vegetarian food but the veg pasta and food IS AMAZING (bit make sure you book! It's really popular), but we also ordered deliveries from JustEat & Deliveroo apps. Breakfast was at the restaurant in the morning and was really nice. The rooms are cleaned really well daily and I even saw them picking leaves off the ground! 😀 Security is good with locked gates at night which require a keycard as well as keycard locks to your room. My only gripe would be that the keycard also powered the apartment, if you left your apartment with the key all the power switched off which wasn't useful when you wanted to charge gadgets etc during the day but not a big issue and I'm sure they would have been happy for us to get another key. But all in all brilliant, a perfect launch pad for the rest of lake garda”
