“The wine tour with lunch is a must-do on any trip to Florence/Tuscany. This wine estate is the perfect escape from the crowded streets of Florence and is an easy taxi ride from the city center. The tour was extremely interesting and educational and the entire estate is beautiful. Giovanni, our guide was passionate and knowledgeable. All of the wine was delicious, as were the many courses of the meal and the olive oil. We just wish we had more room in our suitcases to bring home more wine and olive oil.”

“Stayed in the room Moraiolo for three nights and it was an amazing experience! I would highly recommend it for any occasion since the give you the opportunity to rent the whole place for a better price if you’re a bigger family or big group of friends. The views from our room and the little terrace outside the kitchen were unreal, breakfast in the morning was very fresh, the room was impeccable, and the people working there were so polite and beyond helpful with everything! There was a jacuzzi outside that was so so nice and easy to use! We also did the tour of Nipozzano and Pomino and it was AN experience! Highly highly recommend it, couldn’t praise it more!”

“This is a nice location. However, the room had a very bad odor. The building is ancient, I get it, but the smell was really musty. We had to keep the windows open to air out the place. The AC had no external circulation and had a line dripping into the bathroom for condensation. However, the hosts were very very friendly and nice! Very secure location as well. I’d give the place 5 stars if it was not for the smell.”

“The room was maybe not the best. We found a lot of mold especially in the bathroom, see pictures below. The shower cabin was extremely small and when we arrived we found a wet towel in it. I liked the bed. It was comfy. We were unlucky to get the room next to the hallway toilet and we could hear everything from there. There were guests who used it very late in the night which made it a bit uncomfortable. The location was really good though. Despite the location being good if you have any particular health issues I would recommend looking for another place as the mold can be very dangerous.”

“We went for a couple of days away as a couple but would recommend if you had children. We did the riding lessons there and would also highly recommend. The rooms need a little update but private pool per house was amazing. The building and grounds and views are breath taking. Amazing views for sunsets and rises. The spa was a great experience and the restaurant served a great selection of food and wine. We plan on going back. The staff are super helpful and accommodating and I had alot of questions before we even got there. But would highly recommend hiring a car”

“Great place to stay if passing by with a car. Beautiful countryside and rooms are very cosy and nicely fitting with the country atmosphere. Upon arrival staff was very helpful, showed us two room options and overall throughout the whole stay they recommended us many places to have dinner. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, it was a really well thought out menu and service was just amazing. They also have a sauna and spa services at a very reasonable price. Thank you for a great stay. 😊 only thing I would say is that the pool was a bit cold (then again this would surely not be a problem for any other season).”

“DIRTY LOUD AND UNHYGIENIC - Couldn't have asked for a worse experience with a room during a vacation. They gave us a room on the ground floor and it was extremely noisy with some hotel people moving things at 3AM! Could not fall asleep so asked front desk to change rooms. Changed our room and gave us a room with pizza on the sheets and half eaten pizza on the desk. NOT TO MENTION HAIR ALL OVER THE BED. Completely unacceptable given covid hygiene. The hotel is poorly designed to have loudness as a problem. In addition as other people mention, the shower is terrible and switches between scolding hot or completely cold. It's terrible in cold weather. Please caution before booking”

“Stayed here on very short notice after our other accommodation flooded. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and the location was excellent! They even set up a crib for baby - super clean. There is a lift that takes you up to the first floor and then an internal lift that takes you to the second so very minimal stairs. Lifts are small but we managed to fit the pram in there so it was very useful.”
