“If your looking for an amazing hotel near Kössen, Austria. Look no further! Upon my arrival I was made feel very Welcome. The Lady at the front desk gave me all the deals about the hotel. Also organized me with a card to utilize with the buses. The card is in conjunction with the local tourist office. Great incentive to get people to visit the region and obviously for local businesses. My room was very clean and had a great view. I was really impressed with the swimming pool. Turns out the swimming pool is brand new! Updated last year. The Sauna and steam Room are amazing! Great area set up to relax after a long day out. The breakfast is great! Lots of different breads, cereals and various cheeses. Great coffee, orange juice and water. I highly recommend visiting the restaurant during the afternoon and for dinner. Great choices on the menu. I also recommend sitting outside in the afternoon for drinks. Hotel Riedl definitely rates five stars and more! I definitely will return to this amazing hotel in the near future. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, Lived in the United States for over Thirty Years and served all over the world with the US Marines all over the world. “Attended a wedding here. The view is stunning, the atmosphere is quiet special. (The drive up can be sketchy if you happen to do it in rainy weather, which one should avoid. “This was probably the best overal experience when it comes to a place to stay, and I stayed in Mandarin Oriental before. We made a spontanious trip few months ago to Tyrol and ended up without any accomodation as we planned returning to Linz after, but luckily I have searched the internet long enough to find this Kitzbuhel gem (or maybe an Austrian gem). Super nice and friendly atmosphere, we got such a nice room and all the attention to the details.. But the best was the breakfast and the dining place/restaurant. Really, the best breakfast experience I have ever had- foodwise, and the interior was so cosy, this lovely kind of modern and vintage combined together, where the person/owners clearly have a aesthetics feeling. I was so sad we had to leave, but I am pretty sure this will be my aniversary place to visit every year, to enjoy a drink on the terrace and breathing in the peace and joy of this place.”
