“·I was searching for a nice hotel in Amsterdam within our budget for a weekend and I found Met Hotel. After reading the good reviews and seeing the pictures I decided to book it...and I'm glad that I did. It's an amazing new design hotel, the rooms are big, modern and exceptionally clean, the neighborhood is really calm and the hotel is not super big which means not a lot of noise or busy lounge/breakfast. If you need a nice calm stay not packed with tourists, away from the crowd... that's the place! It's not in the touristy center but you can easily reach the points of interest by foot or metro/tram! The staff was also really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure!”

“Very nice hotel. I slept on the 6th floor and my room was 614, which was very close to the elevator, so that was nice. I stayed 3 nights. Check in is earliest 15, but it was possible for me to put my luggage in the luggage room and come back later, so that I did. Check out is 12, but again I could put my luggage and come back later. In out room there is a lovely view that really comes alive in the evening. Daily cleaning if you’d like. There is a TV that connects to chromecast and also a built-in Bluetooth speaker you can connect to your phone/laptop without even having to turn on the TV. Also, a mini fridge and a tiny vault for your valuable belongings. Free soap in the toilet, along with napkins and small toilet bags. A big rain-like showerhead over your head (which I loved), and a regular showerhead as well in the bath. Hair dryer in the bathroom as well. The sweetest and most helpful staff, both in the reception but also the cleaning team. 500 ish meter away from the tram (Tram 3 I believe), so very close and convenient. All in all, I would really recommend the Niu Fender! <3 I am definitely coming back.”

The hotel is centrally located and easy to access the city center by the new metro or ferry. Sebastian and Anna in the pub are very friendly. Good job NH”

“The boat is very well located. Very close to the city center but.... There was no one to welcome us when we arrived (5pm). The boat itself is ok (the cabins are really really small) but we did not sleep all night because it was very noisy. Some of the passengers had decided to have a party on the boat. The party itself was "quiet" but the participants kept coming in and out of the boat slamming their room doors and talking loudly until 1am. The problem was certainly with the passengers, but why were there no employees on the boat to keep things calm? Moreover, at 1:30 am someone (probably a drunk passenger) started to knock (well hit) on the front door of the boat and shout because he wanted to enter (and didn't know or forgot the code probably). He did this for more than 20 minutes. Then at 4am the passengers who were partying came back from the party and obviously talked loudly in the corridor. The rooms being very badly insulated we hear everything. To summarize, the main problem comes from badly educated passengers, but the staff should be there to take care of the calm on the boat... And I had the impression that the people who partied were friends with the people in charge of the reception. Even if the price is "low" for an accommodation in the center as we could not sleep all night it is not worth the cost.”
