Loved how they have groceries, prepared frozen food items, a deli, dozens of old-fashioned, hard-to-find candies and treats, home decor, furniture, personal care items, seasonal decorations, clothing, sports, hunting items, old-fashioned toys, gifts/novelty items and a museum too! I can’t believe it took us so many years to finally go there! How much can they contain in a beautiful, converted, red and White House?! We can’t wait to go back and take the whole family!”

“Hicks is beautiful. Plants are nice . Otto the ghist displays are great for kids. They are way over priced on their products. The staff at the fall activities are not very happy. No smiles, they just hand the children their sand art container or decorations for the pumpkins. The kids really dont notice but its obvious to the adults. They seem to gotten rid of their cafe that sold pues, coffee and hotchocolate, unless they moved it and i just didnt see it. Shame because the kids would have enjoyed it on cold wet day like today. The animal petting area was gone as well. They did have Otto walking around so that was nice.”

“Imagine it’s 4.5 starts and not 4. My experience with modern aquarium was overall very good. The package I ordered was on of the plant packs which is a very good deal. However the shipment was delayed and arrived a day late despite 2-day shipping. Many of the plants arrived with dead or melted leaves and many of them died off in my tank. Some of them even arrived dead. After messaging modern aquarium and requesting the dead plant to be resent i received a response about a week and a half later. However instead of just resending the dead plants they reshipped the entire order! Not only was an able to replace the dead plants in my large tank I was also able to rescape my small tank with some of the extras. No complaints here, my tanks look amazing due to these guys!”

The owner has an eye for Acropora and it is evident that he and his staff are true coral enthusiasts and experts. They’re LPS and soft coral selections are also top notch. What is apparent the moment you enter the store is just how well taken care of all fish and corals are. I didn’t see a single unhealthy/necrotic specimen (unlike pretty much every other store I’ve been to around NYC). These guys know and love reefing. I’ve included some frags I got from POTO below.”

The attention I was given from literally beginning through delivery (and removal of my old mattress) was exceptional. One expects sales and decorators will be aware of the importance of making a good impression, but this is not the case with every business that provides delivery. While I was unable to be physically present when my mattress arrived, we communicated via phone/video. Directions were followed perfectly, they were curtious and timely. I came home to a new mattress with all plastic removed and furniture in its proper place, and had a great night’s sleep. The value of my purchase was expressed in more than simply the cost of an item, but in the service! I love country Willow!!!!”
