They are also closer to downtown Newberg than the big box stores gas means something. Price not always the best tand when they do have sales they don't always have the item they have on sale. Really friendly staff. Usually a fast check out as they quickly add cashier's to keep it moving”

“I would much rather go to Ace Hardware compared to one of the warehouse stores because the staff are better able help you find what you want and what you need. The staff at Mills Ace Hardware in Lincoln City are terrific. I would recommend them for all your Hardware needs. Fall is here , time to clean up the yard, plenty of leaf bags, and rakes available... sale going on for bird food. Good time to stock up.”

“Yes! What a place. Goes on and on and on... Good prices on good product. This place must be acres big. It is so large they sell coffee. You stop by, you might be here awhile. The quality and choice of houseplants in the middle of Winter was impressive, most impressive. I kid you not. It is a fun place to walk around. I will be stopping here to watch the woods fill up with snow and purchase a plant or two. Thankyjouverymuch.”

“Hate that they gotta treat everyone like a thief now days. needed brad nails and wood putty. After getting someone to unlock the door to get the nails he asked if I needed anything else, so I said yes. he said he will have to leave the nails at the counter, and that he can't let me shop with the nails. Ended up walking out of the store. I'll order what I need from Amazon. at least they treat their customers better.”

I couldn't print off a return label and had to work with customer service who sent me one. Thus the two stars. I haven't received a refund yet so we will see. Update: I did receive my refund.”

“The location was hard to find because it's on a one way and my GPS refused to take me around the block instead of through Daimler's locked gate. Staff were helpful and patient and answered a bunch of questions to help me make a decision. I got 1 gallon of the one-time-only soft green shade for $9/gal (it's almost identical to their $18/gal shade) and a tiny $3 sample of snow white (used on the window trim). This paint is THICK but I still used 2 coats. I was worried about the paint brush streaks, but most flattened out as it dried. I don't paint much, so I'm not sure what is expected, but there was quite a lot of odor. I couldn't imagine doing this inside. You'd need to leave all of the windows open for at least a day or more. My front entryway still smells pretty strongly of paint and I let the door air out overnight. Overall, I'm happy with the paint for the price and the fact that it's recycled and not dumped somewhere. Would I want to do my whole house in it? Eh. Will I buy again? Probably. They have a 90 day return policy on unopened cans. **48hr Update** it's been exactly 2 days since I painted the door and there's still a pretty strong odor. We've decided to return the (unopened) primer for fear it'll smell just as strong (and probably more) when painting an entire room. I'd use this paint on the exterior only, or interior if you have lots of time to let it offgas. We need to be able to use the space pretty quickly after painting, so unfortunately we'll probably have to spend quite a bit more to get a low-odor indoor paint. **5 day update** The door still has a really strong smell. I like the color and the price, but still glad I only used it on the exterior.”

“Getting a tree has become much more challenging due to a variety of circumstances that include hot summers that have led to fewer trees and covid closures. This is more difficult for our family as our tradition is to get a tree the day before Thanksgiving and many U-cut places do not open until after Thanksgiving. After driving to a couple different places we were delighted to find Sleigh Bells in Sherwood, Oregon. It's exactly what you would expect from a great tree farm. Lots of different trees that range in heights from 5 to 10 ft. Very full looking trees with excellent shape. Helpful people that shake and bale the tree for you and an outstanding Christmas market to set the mood for the season that has room after room of Christmas themes. There's even complimentary hot cocoa for the kids. We ended up with a 9 and 1/2 ft fir tree for $115. Way more than a few years ago but a reasonable price in today's competitive market.”
