“Visiting the TJ Maxx was a fairly positive experience for the most part, however there was a significant amount of empty shelves which lead to a shortage in certain sections of the store mainly pertaining to self-care, makeup and shoes. On the contrary the Runway - Designer section of the store was heavily plentiful with a variety of high end designers. Overall a good experience despite lacking certain products. Would recommend to those looking for designer brands at a great price!”

“Their new propane system sucks. Twice I have had an issue with the new propane system, you have to enter your card, it charges you then the machine starts. 1st issue I had was being charged and the machine stopped way before it should have for what I paid. The 2nd most recent the machine took my money and did not start. Went inside just to be told to spend more money and try again.... I still have not seen the charge drop. And their security guards always have an issue and linger around and stare at you and sometimes get in the way from the lane I'm trying to park at because of it.”

“let me start off this is one of the worst shopping experiences i ever had in life !!!! i went to Menards 2 get my handicap Uncle that’s in a wheelchair some bug bombs ! i was stop by a worker Name CHAD and he asked did i just do a return ? i was so confused why he was asking me this 😬 never in my 37 years of life had a sales clerks done this !! no !! was my response i just bought something !! i start walking he follows me and then starts harassing me for a receipt!! once again out of everyone in the store why was i the only person getting question ! ?i told him please stop with this mess sir ! he grab my Menards bag out my hands and rips open until he finds the receipt ! he actually pushed me , after he picks up the receipt! he ask me why i didn’t show him the receipt? first off chad who likes to pick on the only black women in the store ! i have rights and i didn’t have to show him my receipt ! i didn’t brake any laws what so ever! i did contact Bryan the night manger he brushed me off ! And didn’t take my complaint seriously ! bryan didn’t have good customer service he was on his employee side ! i would like 2 be contact asap ! this is no store protocol or procedure that employees get to grab a Customer’s bags out their hand and get assaulted ! i went home crying ! i never felt so racially profile, in my life ! the reason he did this is because he thought i was stealing because he thought i fit the look ! he was definitely wrong this time”

“I am genuinely surprised I haven’t reviewed them before. I shop almost exclusively at their city location. They do have four or five locations in addition to the city location. I love their reviews and their great buys on $10-$30 bottles of wine for everyday use. Additionally I love buying futures and wines that are scheduled to be delivered later. I have started building out my cellar. Additionally I love going to there wine tastings and the once a month introduction to all the new inventory they brought in. I’ve been shopping there now for 25 years. They’re brilliant.”

“My husband and I have been to the Orland location many times. We pass by the Tinley Outlet store all the time. We finally stopped in Thursday evening. We were quickly greeted by Ashley, who went over the pricing on the Christmas houses, etc. She was very friendly and informative. We had to leave quickly due to another obligation. We did, however, make it back in today. Ashley was again there and recognized us from the night before. She was again so nice and willing to help any way she could. My husband and I were there for well over an hour looking at the Christmas houses. Testing them, etc. Ashley and Joe were both so accommodating and helpful. It is very rare in todays world to have the pleasure of dealing with 2 sales associates such as them. As they were ringing up our purchase, we were talking about things to do with the houses and sentimental meanings of the houses, etc. I shared a story of my deceased Mom and how she collected them, etc. They were both so genuinely nice during this conversation. It actually made me tear up a bit to have received such heartwarming compassion by strangers. Thank you again Ashley and Joe! We will definitely be back!”
