“TLDR: Bad communication/messed up delivery date & tried to charge $183 extra when rescheduling/unhinged staff. I originally called them to ask a question about drywall and how delivery worked. The salesperson (Gord) told me it was $65 to deliver and an extra $2-something per sheet of drywall to bring it into the house. I asked if they could bring it into the basement, and he said yes if it was easily accessible. He gives me his email, and the next day I email him asking for a quote and tell him that that Monday morning is preferable for delivery, but if not Thursday or Friday are good. Because I have a friend who can help, I tell him I don't need the service to the basement and the backyard is fine. He sends a quote with an extra delivery charge of $38.40. I tell him I'm confused because I didn't need extra help inside, and he tells me if he needs to send two guys it's $38.40 extra. I tell him to send one guy and drop it off wherever in the back. I also ask him to confirm Monday morning is works for delivery. He emails back "Monday am , booked." and a revised quote. I pay. Monday rolls around, my friend and I wait, and no one shows. I double check the invoice and the delivery date is not Monday. I email and ask if they can get it out today considering he told me he booked it for Monday am. He changes it to the next day (which doesn't work for me). I email him back and talk with him on the phone asking if he can change to Thursday or Friday but let him know that I will now need help to bring it in because my friend can't take another day off. He says he'll see what he can do. He calls me back telling me something about sending two invoices, and then emails me back a bit later with two invoices that total $183 more than the original price. Expressing my disappointment and frustration, I emailed them, hoping they would reconsider the excessive charges. Regrettably, the response not only failed to address my concerns but also got super argumentative with terribly poor grammar and punctuation that makes me think he was unhinged and furious writing it. This entire experience has left me thoroughly disappointed, and I would caution others considering their services to beware of the communication issues, delivery discrepancies, and unhelpful staff that I encountered throughout this ordeal.”

“Update - absolutely fantastic service from Christine in paint.. She worked very hard and went above in beyond in helping me match a paint colour, it was not easy! Thanks again Christine, you are awesome! Awesome customer service from all staff, especially the manager (not sure if he is the store manager, or customer service manager, blondish hair did not get a name) always welcoming, solves an issue and I feel confident in purchasing items from here (usually purchase at Costco!!) also shout out to the young man in the paint department, he tried his best to match a paint colour to my window trims! Thanks again to all staff, I will be back soon!”
