“The Hamilton way surpassed my expectations! The room was lovely and nicely decorated and the beds we're very comfortable. There were plates, cutlery, glasses and cups available, which was surprising for a Motel room, which meant we could eat in. The location of the Hamilton was perfect! Close to Canberra for sightseeing and close to Queanbeyan for everything we needed for our stay. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were lovely! We will definitely stay again and recommend The Hamilton to family and friends! Thank you for a perfect stay!!”

“The staff were really friendly and polite. Our room was the Riverview spa suite, it had beautiful views and the bathroom had ample room to sit and enjoy the spa with a glass of wine. The breakfast in morning had a large selection of hot and cold and sweets just about every breakfast item there is. The pool area was lovely, unfortunately the weather was not suitable for a swim.”

“We stayed 2 nights at the Yandina Hotel. It was a really lovely experience. We had a family room which was actually 2 rooms and access to the balcony. The room was very clean and well presented. The shower was hot and strong. The bed was comfortable. For an old pub, it was pretty good. Great ambience. We were there on a Friday night when the live band was playing. Yes, the music was loud in our room but again, it was good music so I actually enjoyed it. I wanted to go to sleep before the band finished so I just put in a pair of ear plugs and I was good as gold. They didn't play late in any case.”

I told the girl behind the bar it wasn’t good gave her back half a pint . Thought it might have just been a bad pour and ordered another . I had two mouthfulls and couldn’t drink anymore . It was very flat , pint had no head just very poor overall Some lessons on pouring could really benefit them When I told the girl behind the bar about it she was rude and frankly didn’t care Noting she could do about it as she said . Very disappointing and very poor service/customer care Two pints wasted and money thrown on the floor We enjoyed coming here until this happened last night , we might stay clear in future unfortunately.”

The staff is super nice; the kitchen is big enough; the room is quiet and comfortable; the location is ideal (right in front of a tram stop) and if you want to walk, you’re already in the heart of Sydney with plenty of restaurants and shops. Also it’s very clean. I’ve been to MANY hostels across Australia and I’m very happy to finish my travel in such a nice place.”
