“Superb front line workers here: the mainstay of the hospitality industry. . Room spotless . Breakfast really well done and varied. Couple of things set it rated high. The front desk were informative, helpful and knowledgeable. In particular Rececao got a taxi for me while I was stuck at the airport on a Sunday. Very helpful and much appreciated. Plus the manager sent me an email a couple of days earlier asking if I needed anything and a few things about the hotel. I have never received that in 70 + years of travel. It was superbly helpful. Every hotel of worth should do it as it demonstrates a great commitment. The location is easy for the town and ferry as a short cut. Beautiful gardens. A well run hotel.”

“The property, rooms and views are stunning and Ana from the Spa is lovely. However the front of house are not very helpful. I booked a meditation session 24h in advance, when arriving to the spa I was informed it wouldn’t take place due to the gym being in use and the lack of staff (I know they had their xmas party the night before). Nobody warned me ahead of time and they said I should try the massages (basically saying spend money). The lady at the spa said she would have to prioritise treatments before the session (they profit more out of it). If they knew no one would be around do not include the meditation service on your activity schedule! So pre warning if you come here looking for wellness and are enticed by the activities, be warned that it may be cancelled last minute without a heads up! They also have bikes on site however not suitable for the terrain. I had to walk half my trajectory as they were city bikes. Mountain bikes for adults are a must!”

“Very sweet personnel, a true paradise for anyone who is looking for a place to recharge in this landscape. The houses are spacious and comfortable (although I'd argue the decor is terrible). The little infinity pool, ténis Court, breakfast fixings and fresh bread delivered to the room in the morning make for a truly wonderful experience. Our stay was short, but we're left with the desire to come the next time we're thinking about a few restful days away from it all. Highly recommended”

“I reserved at 22h to stay the next night in this hotel, when I saw I mistakenly had reserved the same night as when I made the booking, so the night before arrival, they refused to pay me back any money for the reservation I had just made hours before. They said they could not pay anything back because of the booking platform, altough booking platform said they contacted the accommodation and that the latter refused to pay any money back. I was really wanting to stay there, but they will never have me as clients in the future. Money is not everything.”

Amazing little Quinta with the best hosts you can imagine, in a picturesque environment and a great pool. You feel completely disconnected from the world (but have great Wi-Fi in case of need) and can relax at the pool and discover the amazing nature nearby. If you are lucky, you get to enjoy amazing food next to great family wine!”
