“Devbhoomi is very conveniently located right next to the Gomti River. We stayed in a family room, which opened right on the ghaat, hence making the mornings and evenings quite eventful. The place features a kitchen that is open to be used by guests, and it was very handy in allowing us to make tea for ourselves. The only thing to not to nice was that you need to park the car a little far away and walk about 200 meters to reach the residency. Another thing to note is that I found the stay extremely pricey for the quality and cleanliness of the room. The linen was old and overused, it gives more of a Dharamshala vibe than a lodge by all means, and paying about 7k per night for that definitely pinched me a little. Although the location is extremely nice, the rooms are not that great and not worth the price. Last thing to note is that the Ghat gets very busy in the mornings and evenings, thus you cannot remain asleep till late. I was annoyed by the loud noises as people take bath in the river and it overall just dulls down the experience a bit.”

“Firstly, I would like to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the presence of mosquitoes in my room. Despite taking necessary precautions, I woke up to find my face significantly swollen due to multiple mosquito bites. This not only disrupted my sleep but also caused discomfort throughout my stay. Lack of.food choices at breakfast and this was a fully vegetarian hotel which was not mentioned anywhere prior to booking. Big let down with variety. Additionally, I would like to address a technical problem in the room. The TV remote provided was not functioning properly, making it challenging to use initially. No communications from the hotel after 3 weeks of complaint.”

The whole place was stinking and the wait staff was severing food with his dirty fingers dipped in food plate, when we asked to put food on trays, he rudely replied that they don’t have any .The food here is costly and has no taste and hygiene. worst behaviour of staff . Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“It’s a good Budget Hotel If you are looking to have business work around government offices, this is a good stay place with about 2 kms proximity you have almost all major offices Breakfast options are very limited You get Poha, bread butter/ Toast Butter , paratha Tea and Coffee Food taste is good They have one associated restaurant but it’s offering is fixed menu lunch or dinner at 120/- INR. At this price point it’s great but average with respect to taste for lunch / dinner Rooms are clean and good but I needed to ask for Towels, dental kit etc”
