“I've now been to this place twice. It's a very beautiful South Indian themed resort that helps you connect with nature. There are domestic animals that kids can feed and pet, there's an olden style swimming pool and a pump set for water games. They arrange early morning short treks across fields and bullock cart rides as well. The beautiful rangolis outside every room adds to the ethnic charm of the place. The food was very good. The first time we went there was lovely music playing at night with live counters along the street serving food items like panniyaram. Overall a beautiful place worth visiting!”

“It is actually a pet friendly resort where no discrimination was felt. The property is very calm, good villa feel with privacy, greenery with close to nature feel and buffet breakfast is decent with limited option but overall, very good relaxing stay. We had 2 pets, and they enjoyed a lot. Yes, you can bring the pets just outside the breakfast area but since it's open area there will be no air conditioning. We felt the dog pool water was not cleaned for 3 days of our stay. So we didn't use it rather went to beach for them to enjoy :)”

“We went here just for lunch and the palace staff was kind to offer a free guided tour of palace etc . The service provided by the staff was quite good , everyone was very welcoming and humble but we were a little disappointed by the food. We traveled here just to try the authentic Chettinad food and to our utter surprise food was catering to a foreign palate - not at all spicy (could not even call it medium spiced for an Indian palate ) and even the spread looked quite humbling for a 1100 rs lunch per person. The fish served was also not fresh . I would have expected better from a restaurant in heart of Chettinad serving the regional food. Hope this review helps improve the food .”

“This place is a classic case of unfulfilled potential. The property is located at a convenient location, very near to the lake. It has a great view and lots of open spaces but it is not maintained properly. The common areas are not clean, the games room is not maintained, the bonfire pit is broken, the pool is under maintenance. If the place is maintained well it will be one of the favourites in Yercaud. The restaurant was very average. The food in both breakfast and dinner did not match up to the standards of the hotel. The staff was however very responsive and wanted to make the stay a better one. Considering the price per night for the room we paid, it certainly could have been much better.”

“Everything about this resort is great, perfect getaway esp when u are travelling with kids, they have indoor and outdoor sports, wonderful ambience, well maintained garden and helpful staff, parking facility was good, the resort management helped us hire a local cab to cover nearby spots at reasonable price, campfire and music was good too.... We had a wonderful time and made amazing memories, every corner is worth a picture.. Highly recommend this resort(one of the bestest in Kodaikanal), its very near to silver cascade falls.... However, the management can improve w.r. t food... Kindly include more options in the menu.... Overall 10/10 experience i had with my family.”

“Pros: The staff was great and quite helpful. The cleanliness and overall quality of maintenance was also very good. Cons: The location wasn't great. It was on a mud road far from the main road below, high in elevation, and difficult to reach on foot. Poor parking facilities as well. Also, there were very few good places for something as simple as tea or snacks in the vicinity. The property itself doesn't have any amenities or food options. A small kitchen or pantry for guests to make their own food/tea/coffee would be great given the isolated nature of the property.”

What is the customer booking a room online, how is the service, no matter how the hotel looks, the next thing they ask is how the hotel is good. But there is a small room for the driver to stay, if you want to go to the bathroom, you can't go to the back side, we don't have a place to sleep for five hours, 90% of hotels are like that.”

“I had a great experience at this cottage. The rooms were spacious and absolutely clean. The beds were comfy and I had a lovely nights rest. Hot water is available which is a MUST when in Ooty although it is controlled by the staff so you have to give them a call and wait for 30 minutes. Which is alright because the service is pretty prompt. They have a coffee machine and snacks available. Everything is provided, including towels, soap bars and shower gels. I had absolutely no complaints with the room or my stay, besides the commute to the hotel. The road to the hotel is an uphill climb and they have plenty of potholes and craters. However, once that is fixed, it would be a prime destination for very affordable costs”
