“The Mudhouse was in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, mountains, birds, flowers. It was such a beautiful experience. The stay, the Mudhouse and the Tree House was an absolute gem, and the food was amazing. Especially Lunch!! The staff were super kind and attentive. It’s a little far from the city (Kochi) but it’s so so worth it. I had one of the best experiences of my life here. Thank you. I will definitely be back!”

A huge breakfast included including fresh juice, omelettes and traditional Indian food. Book in advance if possible. “I recently stayed at Lumino Highrange. I was extremely disappointed with my experience, as it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. They charged me a significant amount for a small room, but due to exhaustion and limited availability, I had no choice but to accept it. The room and bathroom were extremely small and not very clean. The bedsheets and towels in the bathroom were old and not properly maintained. Considering the price I paid, it was definitely not worth it. They overcharged me by at least ten times. The location, however, was good. The non-Malayali staff members were really kind and helpful, but the Malayali staff members were a bit arrogant and displayed attitude.”

“I was very disappointed with my stay at Golden fern resort. The room was dirty, the bed linen was musty and fungal. The food was bland and mediocre.The resort looked nothing like the pictures on their website. They are maintaining with minimal staffs and you won't expect luxurious. The only good thing was the view from the balcony, but that was not worth the price I paid. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. It was a waste of time and money. I give it 2 stars out of 5. The main thing I would like to say is that the breakfast provided was completely unsatisfactory. There are only 2 items for you to eat, which is not worth the cost of the stay.”

“We had an excellent stay in Green View Holiday Inn. The rooms are small but fully adequate and equipped with everything you need. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with a lot of plants, and nice flair. We stayed with 2 people for 2 nights and did a wonderful, guided hike from the hotel which was very easy to arrange. The staff was super friendly and competent without exception. They gave us nice hints for restaurants on our first evening as we arrived late and hungry. When we had half a day left before leaving in the afternoon, the staff gave us nice tips for waterfalls and arranged a deal with a motor ricksha driver for half a day.”
