“My husband surprised me today with this experience and it was amazing!! I’ve ALWAYS loved horses but had never ridden a real horse on my own. (Other than guided pony rides when I was little lol). Being that this was the first experience for all of us (my husband, my daughters ages 9 & 11 and myself), I honestly was not too nervous. Our guide, Brandon, was very nice and introduced us to the horses and assured us that they already knew what to do. There was also another guide that stayed in the back to watch and make sure that everything went well (I apologize I don’t recall her name but she was also very nice.) The ride was about 45 minutes and was really beautiful. Like other reviewers have said, you start to forget that you’re in NY especially when you get by the water. My younger daughter was nervous at first but was loving it by the end. I’d say it’s well worth the price of $70 a rider (when paying cash) and don’t forget to tip your guide! Will definitely come back again! :)”
