Valley Veterinary Hospital

“I use to see Dr. Stack for my cat and he was amazing for the 15 years he was her Vet. I inherited my mother’s dog after she passed away and this is the first year I’ve dealt with my dachshund’s allergies. For regular check ups Valley Vet is fine but in relation to a “condition” my experience was not great.. Scrappy suffers from allergies and hot spots. I originally visited the vet in April and it was confirmed to be allergies. After the initial visit my dog experienced no relief. I told the vet my dog is screaming and uncomfortable and returned for a follow up visit and was told nothing appears wrong. After the steroid, pain pills and anxiety meds he is still scooting, biting and scratching... 2 full body dog suits, five prescriptions and 400.00 later my dog is still in a cone and I’m trying everything possible to relieve his itching because he’s to the point where he’s scooted the fur off his tail.. I’m in the process of searching for a second opinion. He’s literally itching himself on my rug as I type this review.”

Virtua Willingboro Hospital

218A Sunset Rd, Willingboro, NJ 08046, United States

“I gave birth in two other virtua locations. We use the Voorhees location all the time for our kids bc they have the children’s ER. Good experiences. When my husband had a medical emergency he went to Willingboro because it was the closest and we trusted the Virtua Name. NOPE. This place is FILTHY, inattentive, negligent, SLOW, and either uninformed or ignorant (yet to be determined). The community deserves better. I’d like to start off by saying if you are admitted here please be well versed in your patient rights, as well as how to negotiate a hostage situation. A nurse threatened to withhold pain medication from my husband if he chose not to follow the diet that he was on even though he had no idea he was on it, what it was, or what it was for. Conveniently, the threat came after we had made several complaints to patient relations. As for the cleanliness of the facility, please see the pictures I’ve included with this review. This was in a hospital room, where sick people are trying to get better. The pictures speak for themselves. What is not pictured, however, are the fecal stained sheets from the neighboring room that sat in the hallway soiled linen bin for 8+ hours stinking up the entire place. Dried urine on the bathroom floor, dried blood on the doors. I am rarely grossed out, but this facility was absolutely disgusting. I will admit the lobby was beautiful. I couldn’t find a speck of dust anywhere, but it feels a little like make up on a pig. It is a lie. The cleanliness is not where it counts. I could be wrong but I get a strong impression they intentionally delay treatment to squeeze out an extra day of inpatient charges. They don’t keep the patient informed, at all, and when they do give answers they’re either incredibly vague or flat out incorrect. For example, my husband asked for pain medication. They gave him some. When he asked what it was he continually got the answer “this is the pain medication”. MAJOR RED FLAG. When we asked about another medication he was receiving they gave us AN answer, but it was not the correct answer as we found out later. His call bell on the bed didn’t work so they gave him a bell. The kind of bell you’d see at a hotel desk to “ring for service”. The bell was either not loud enough, or they chose not to respond to it. The woman in the room next door screamed for a nurse for 20+ minutes before anyone answered. The nurse for the other guy in the room walked by my husband’s beeping IV machine for over an hour. On more than a few occasions it would beep for over an hour before anyone checked on him. He had a fall risk, but they didn’t tell him that, nor did they offer to assist him to go to the bathroom or anything. He wouldn’t have accept help anyway, but if he’s a risk, people should be checking on him. I called patient relations to complain, and they did nothing. We don’t have a clue what’s going on with him, not even a direction. I’ve been stressing about it for days with no answers. This violates the patient bill of rights. He is not being informed of his potential issues or the procedures or why they are necessary. Please take the time to go to another hospital if you have the option. Do not go to this one. Your life might depend on it.”

“My mother has lived in Aristacare's Nostalgia Park for almost a year. There are many kind and caring people who work there and if problems develop, they do everything they can to remedy them. One person who is truly dedicated to the residents and always goes above and beyond the call of duty is Lisette Sousa-Vasquez, the program coordinator. She works tirelessly to create a warm, homelike environment and her efforts make a real difference to my mother's happiness. Shout out to nurses Rose and Bri, aides Paul, Sam and Brenda for their kindness as well.”
