“We had a great stay at Hosteller chikmagalur. Right from the moment we entered inside the staff greeted very warmly. Really appreciate the staff for making sure to feel special. The staff at the reception were all so polite and nice to all the guests. Food was good and had north and south indian even Chinese combo was extremely nice. Rooms were clean and hygiene was maintained. Washrooms were sparkling clean. Hospitality by the manager was superb and even he helped us with a travel plan! Will come again”

“What an Amazing experience of 3 days and 2 nights of stay here!!!! The owner Anup bhai can be your best guide. The view from the rooms are just amazing you sleep and wake with a mountain view. The garden outside is a beautiful place with 4 furry friendly dogs to cheer up your day. In the evening the bonfire was lit and people made a circle around it we chit- chatted and made friends with many people from many areas. We had some female friends with us and we never faced a problem everything was secure as well as enjoyable. Hope to visit again soon.”

“excellent location, great hosts, budget friendly, clean place with great hostel vibes. the hosts were very warm, friendly and chilled out people. the location is quiet, scenic yet central. they have a lot of open space, including parking. I stayed in the 9 bed dorm. it was a spacious room, the beds were clean and there were two warm and thick blankets for each bed. the only thing i didn't like here was toilets. 9 bed dorm had two toilets which were outside and kind of common as staff and driver also used it. And the 6 bed dorm had one attached toilet, which I feel is inadequate. I will definitely consider staying at this property if I visit Bir again but in a private room.”

“Beautiful location to stay at. It’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of the commercial areas of Dharamsala but close enough for any kind of transportation to reach. Most people visit the mountains for some peace and calm so this is the apt location for it. The dorms/ private rooms are extremely clean and taken care of and they even provide private heaters if you need one. The hostel has it’s own kitchen which solves the issue of looking for new places to eat everyday and the food is great. Staff is very polite and provide great service. The best part about the hostel is the view. It’s incredible!! Definitely recommend it.”
