“Great value for it's price. Pods are spacious and modern with plenty of power sockets. Mine came with a projector screen which is easy enough to setup and use. Good location in town, walking distance to the river, shops, and subway stations. Only downside would be the curtain that isn't really sound proof. If you're a light sleeper be prepared to be awakened by other guests entering and leaving their pods. Met some friendly people here too, definitely a younger vibe with the occupants.”

“Apart from the price being a bit expensive, there are no other shortcomings. The room is big enough and the shower room is very good. It is very convenient to take a taxi at the door. 711 has everything. Walk 100 meters towards Heyuan Town. …”

“This male only place is a must if you are a group of friends traveling in Kyoto. Not only do you get a genuine capsule hotel experience, as most guests are Japanese, but there is also a sauna / spa, that I highly recommend. You will get an official pajama when you check in, and there are all the amenities and products - from shaving foam, razors, even toothbrushes with toothpaste, to hair gel, basically everything you need for personally hygiene. Then there is the location. Situated close to Nishiki market and Goin district, the location is as good as it gets for this budget friendly hotel”

“Stayed here for one night - the next day we went to USJ. Pros: •very convenient •close to the train station/USJ •affordable •the staff were very kind and easy to talk to •Options for private rooms (no private bathroom) Cons: •Odor!! As soon as we entered the hostel it smelled like a college dormitory (stuffy and body odor...) The smell was quite strong throughout the entire hostel. This was the biggest con. •Cleanliness. The rooms looked a bit beaten up and there were stains on the tatami. The stairs didn't look like they had been cleaned too recently. •Tight shower space. I'm quite petite but even for me it was a bit difficult to move around. Some Japanese hostels are like this, others aren't. I guess it really depends on the establishment. •Noise! Even though the hostel rules say no loud noises/conversations past 10:00, there were guests who were speaking very loudly and we couldn't get much sleep... :( If you're looking for a quick place to stay and on a budget on your way to USJ, this may suit you. If/when we go back to USJ though, I'll most likely be shelling out a little more to stay at a hotel...”

“Great hotel by a Singapore brand. Front desk service staff were excellent, going the extra mile to help with my damage luggage claims from Yamato. Guest Recreation room was also comfortable with free coffee and tea. Rooms were comfortable and came with a fridge and microwave oven. Great for recharge after a whole day of shopping and exploring Osaka! Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this place.”

“Love this hotel, literally next to miebashi monorail station, 15min to Naha airport. 8min walk to main shopping street, lots of good restaurants around. Can’t fault the location and service. Good breakfast too. Must visit sky bar salon - top quality cocktails.”

“We stayed here our last night in Tokyo and loved it. The hotel is a hidden gem outside the business of Tokyo. It’s not as centrally located as other hotels but that wasn’t an issue for us. You’re still close to the train station and other sights such as Senso-Ji are walking distance from the hotel. It is in a quiet area with great food options. We stayed in the Japanese style room and the rooms are so spacious compared to any other hotel in Tokyo. Very clean and beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to store our bags or answer any questions. Would definitely recommend”

“Very clean and comfortable room. Service staff are exceptional. The cleaning service and laundry room are excellent as well. Very enjoyable stay in Akita, very near the train station, which made it convenient for traveling around the Prefecture and beyond.”

“I did like this hot springs the most! There was 4 type of bath you can go in, and cost 300 yen. Hot and regular bath, rotten, steam bath. I really enjoyed all of the bath, I wish I could stay longer. After I visit chijigoku and tastumaki jigoku, I walked up the road for 10-15 mins to get there. Apparently, in between 14:00 to 15:00 is closed for cleaning. I was told by local. After 15:00 was busy. There was a locker for 100 yen. You’ll need to bring your own towel and amenities.”

“Stayed there for 3 days for our visit in Osaka in late November and the location is excellent. Walking distance from 7 eleven, from the subway terminal and to Osaka Castle and museum. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean, albeit a bit small, but i think that is Japan in general. Overall highly recommended and great value for money!!”

“I stayed in Uzu House for one night and generally loved the place. The staff is so super nice and helpful, the place has a great industrial interior design with cute touches and facilities and the location is great to discover the area. The only reason I cannot give them 5 stars are the beds. The dorms are well done, there's enough privacy, but the "mattress" and pillow are a joke. It's like sleeping on garden furniture pillows, just three extremely soft layers of some kind of cheap foam, not even a real mattress. The pillow is a cloud of nothing and has no supportive capabilities. That kind of mattress might work on Tatami mats, but not on a wooden bed. It's like sleeping directly on the bed frame. They should seriously consider changing that and invest in some comfortable mattresses for more comfort.”

3 Chome-12-5 Akasaka, Minato City, Tokyo 107-0052, Japan
“Thoroughly enjoyed the delightful breakfast and perfect hot bath at this charming hotel. However, the room's limited space made managing luggage a challenge. Suggesting the addition of storage solutions like wall hooks or a luggage rack. Also appreciated the provision of good quality hair serum and dryer. Overall, a pleasant stay, yet enhancements in room functionality would elevate the experience.”

“I've been staying here for the last few visits to Tokyo. It's relatively cheap compared to other hostels. The rooms are nice and each bed has a curtain for privacy but I wish they had individual lockers for each bed. You can rent a locker in the common rooms but in my opinion they aren't large. The spaces are always clean and the staff has always been very helpful. Location is pristine if you're looking to be close to drinking hubs (Golden Gai is literally a 5 min walk from here). Overall I keep coming back here for a reason, that being it's cheap, convenient, and location is good.”
