“Fantastic hostel. Nice clean rooms (4 bed mixed dorm with ensuite) /facilities, great location, welcoming environment, friendly staff (Tom and others), fun activities (Thanks Joey) and affordable prices. I also had the privilege of meeting the owner (Brett) who really cares about his hostels and wants the best for everyone. Thanks for a great stay, I will be back :) - I have stayed in all Adventure Hostels (Queenstown, Q2 and Wanaka) in both shared and private rooms all are great and well maintained. Probably the best out of all the hostels I’ve stayed in while being in NZ across 2023/2024. Thanks again!”

“Very convenient location close to town centre. Reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and friendly and hostel is well-cleaned and taken care of. Beds are comfortable with curtains and a night light for privacy. Most people who stay are fairly chilled, not lots of loud partying late into the night. Only downside is that the bigger dormitories are near to a noisy street, but I wore earplugs and this was fine.”

“There's a huge wow factor on the top deck balcony. An amazing view of the water and area. You do have to mind the trains though, which do roll through occasionally. The hostel sits in a 100 year modernized building with AC, modern kitchens, and bathrooms. Super clean, strict check-ins at 2PM guarantee there's time to for the cleaners to come through, they do a great job. I highly recommend this hostel”

“Very nice hostel centrally located. Big and well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of shower and toilet stalls. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there weren't privacy courtins on the bunk beds, and there wasn't air conditioning. The linen was, and the hostel was clean and well staffed. Friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again.”

“Fantastic hotel. So well located. Absolutely spotlessly clean. The breakfast was super generous and included fresh fruit and avocados and tomatoes. Definitely better than the Continental breakfast we expected. Cute styling. Very friendly staff!”

“I’m a local and finally decided to try this place out. The staff were really rude, disinterested and had a very unwelcoming energy which then affected the overall vibe. Happy hour had great prices but the bar tender who I assume was also the manager, literally forgot to put alcohol in one of the cocktails we ordered so had to take it back. Overall a really disappointing experience and even if the food is good, the atmosphere was too luck luster for us to bother staying to try it.”
