“Stayed here while visiting relatives in Negros. Enjoyed it immensely. Staff are very kind, accommodating and they go out of your way to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are clean, well kept and the bed was pretty comfy too. The hotel is literally IN SM Bacolod meaning you can leave the hotel and enter the mall as you please. And the finally the value for money is extremely hard to beat. Highly recommend. Be aware, kind and considerate of the staff that work here please, they do an amazing job.”

“The place is good. Staff is friendly. And goes of the way to be polite, especially the guards. Spacious inside and out. Warm pool is worth it at night. They turned on the wave once requested, the schedule every 2 hours is followed only as needed. You can see they quite cut back on some amenities. Breakfast is on the light side, so better prepare if you are a breakfast person. I hope the handles will be fixed in the restroom, especially on the tub side, it is dangerous. And hope they will add additional suction/rubber mats for better stability. Water access 24/7 is good, if they can provide. You can get potable water from the restaurant until 10pm only. Bring what you need prior to arriving, like food supplies. Overall is is still recommended.”

“The hotel itself is adequate for the price-no complaints. However the tenanted travel operator leaves a bit to be desired. Whilst a tenant, by implication the hotel is almost recommending them. I was annoyed when charged twice for the environmental fee on an El Nido tour and not allowed to leave the boat until I had paid even though I had a receipt back at my hotel stating that I had. As a 73 year old foreign traveller I don’t like being threatened. I cannot recommend the hotel to my friends if they are going to suffer what happened to myself.”

“Our room had no window and there wasn't much space to move. It was quiet and we loved the bed to the point we lost track of time. Toilet was clean. Interior design is industrial. Breakfast is included which is quite a big serving. Good location and only a few meters away from the port.”

“Great value for money. Only caveat is it's far from White beach so you have to take a trike when going out or board their free shuttle. The HoHo bus stop is 12mins away by foot and it's a hilly walk. As for the rooms, I got a 6 female dorm with own T&B. I was a solo traveler. Honestly, cleanliness of the bath and toilet will depend on your roommates so sometimes I would rather shower in the common baths. Those get cleaned daily. The private T&B will only get cleaned upon request. The beds don't have privacy curtains but they had ample storage with locks. They also have free wifi which was decent for chat and email. There were a lot of remote workers staying here so during the day, the common areas are packed. I opted to stay in the room or go to a cafe outside to work. The staff are friendly. Downstairs, they have a restaurant. I ordered a serving of Sinigang and one nice thing they do is store the leftovers then reheat it for the next day. Which I totally appreciate as a solo traveler. It made me feel more at home. Bonus are photos of a cute cat.”

“Even if they are only a 1 star hotel, they have a very friendly and accommodating staff. It is a very budget friendly hostel near urbiztondo beach. Their toilet was clean and had tissues and a bidet. Their mattresses are clean and soft.”

“Let me enumerate all the RED FLAGS of this hotel. ANGELIC INN turns HELLS INN: 1. They are fully booked and cant accommodate us because they're not affiliated with klook or Expedia (then hello what will happen to this booking that WE ALREADY DID LAST NOV 2023??) No APOLOGIES from the staff. 2. For the first night they booked us in another hotel with ONLY A FAN ROOM and A LOT OF MOSQUITOS (we payed for an air conditioned room and this only what we get? We came from 6-7 hours of drive and this is what we get? Take noteee the surrounding is chaotic because of the PERYA is just on the side of the inn where they booked us) Again, no APOLOGIES from the staff. 3. So they advised us that tomorrow morning 7 am we'll go back to the angelic inn to have a breakfast and finally check in to our room. Our first tour is 8 am so imagine the rush what we did ONLY TO FIND OUT AGAIN that we cant still check in to our room. I am mad, actually, IM FURIOUS. We dont have a room where we can prepare for the tour, we dont have a proper sleep yet and my friend is in pain because of dysmenorrhea. STILL NO APOLOGIES FROM THEM. I told them that im mad that this should be fixed already because it's not our fault that they're having problems with Expedia. NO APOLOGIES, again. 4. When we get back from the tour on that same day, we got greeted by the staff but NOT A WELCOMING ONE. The staff is mad because I GOT MAD earlier (OMG IM SO DONE WITH THIS TRIP, you ruined this trip angelic inn) i walked out because i don't the energy to that rude staff who cant even apologize to us. We are not the first one who experienced this so this should be fixed before why do you guys let this happened again? Overall, we didn't maximize our payment. WORST NIGHT if you can book to another inn please do so, don't waste your energy to this TRASHY HOTEL AND RUDE STAFF. DEFINITELY NOT AN ANGELIC ONE.”
