Hotel Haus Delecke Möhnesee

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 02:00 PM

Linkstraße 10-14, 59519 Möhnesee, Germany

“We arrived and there was only one duvet on the bed but we were two. This did get sorted quickly. The receptionist helped a lot and was lovely. The rooms overall were quite small and there were spiderwebs in the corners. However, for the price it was, it was alright. We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food was not the best. One person from my group had Chanterelle soup and it was very bitter, which was not right. Later, the server said three people had said it was bitter, so there was something wrong with the soup. In the morning we went to breakfast, which is a buffet. There was a large variety of food and all was tasty.”

Landhotel Und Gasthof Cramer
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Prinzenstraße 2, 59581 Warstein, Germany

“One star minus for smell inside. Too much smells food and cigarettes - when someone smokes outside. The restaurant is old, in interesting design, wall papers in toilet (what I think is cute). Waiter was friendly and speaking English. We waited for our hot dish around 20 min which was normal. Restaurant was full. Dish were tasty (for me was too much big portion), I would give good 4 from 5. Not bad wine (we had red south African).”

Coffee Fellows Hotel Dortmund
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 02:30 PM

Schwarze-Brüder-Straße 1, 44137 Dortmund, Germany

“Visited Dortmund for the Christmas market and stayed in Coffee Fellows Hotel for one night. They try to do everything digital, from check-in to check-out, which works but is slightly impersonal. The room is good, everything was decent, neat and clean. The shower was even the best I had in a hotel for a long time. But it all comes crumbling down with breakfast: 1. The breakfast is advertised at different rates (@ Coffee Fellows, you fellow app prices don't match what we were charged per person) 2. The receptionist must have been under a lot of pressure (trying to find an excuse here for the behaviour) but we got the feeling our simple question of 'can we eat breakfast' was too much, and we got several rude responses and walked away from that conversation with a feeling of being a nuisance to her. *Poof* gone is the feeling of hospitality. Fine right, bad days happen... no: 3. This breakfast in the current form is not worth 14,90 per person, it really isn't. - Only hard boiled eggs, no other egg options - No bacon or sausages - No salmon - Only hard rolls and croissants, if they are not finished, queue next item: - We had to wait for refill on numerous basic items - There was no table available and we had to sit at the bar waiting for a table I travel monthly for work throughout Europe and Germany, and I'm sorry but this is the least value for money breakfast I have seen in years. In summary, we could sleep here again if we visit Dortmund, but we would get breakfast elsewhere. Which is odd, since we were excited for breakfast in a coffee place...”

Zur Hude 9, 59519 Möhnesee, Germany

“This is a hostel owned by the catholic labourer movement, open to families and groups for vacation or workshops. The restaurant is more a lunchroom or cafeteria for the guests, but walk ins are welcome too. Drinks and homemade cakes are offered, with counter service. Affordable and good taste. In summer they provide a beer garden with view to their little zoo with goats and pigs.”

Hotel Eigelstein
4.2
( 8 reviews )

Eigelstein 45, 50668 Köln, Germany

“A perfect place! They did actually save my life - I just crashed into and got a room without booking, meanwhile all the hotels nearby were booked out. Location is also great - a quiet street with kiosks, pubs and cafes. 5 min walk to a tram and bus stations + 5 min to the central railway station. Thank you very much! Hope to see you again!”

Backpacker Hostel Aachen
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

Mauerstraße 116, 52064 Aachen, Germany

“Very basic, rundown hostel. Should be around €15 for the quality you get. You don't get a key. There's a combination to enter the front door, which doesn't work. The owner himself had to ring to get back inside. The rooms can't be locked. Everyone can walk in. There are no lockers to store your bag in the room. It's stuffy. The only option is put the windows wide open, which caused a massive draft and lots of noise at night. The building is next to the railway and the ring road. There are only a few plugs, so don't expect to charge your phone at night if you're on the upper bunks. Rooms were dirty. It looks like quite a few students stayed there. Quite some dirt and laptops laying around. Lack of respect with flashing lights at night. Shower was clean. Kitchen & common area: you can cook, but it could use thorough cleaning. It looks like a bad student place. The WiFi is non existing. Only one or 2 can use it at the same time. Super poor. The common area itself also only has 2 places where you can sit and charge something. One of them has a plug crammed just behind a sofa. Poor setup. Mattresses & pillows were hard as well. Only book here if you really want to save money or need something for 1 night. Proper WiFi, locks on doors, proper bed and lockers are hostel essentials. No sleep, no fun. Disappointed”

Amical Hotel Hagen
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Am Hbf 3b, 58089 Hagen, Germany

“The property has no elevator, we were placed on the upper floor of the building. We arrived at 23:30. Only one pillow was available in the room. When my wife went downstairs to ask for the second one, the concierge was already prepared for her question, and had the pillow ready to give her (instead of even making the effort of bringing it himself), but never bothered to provide the pillow to avoid us going up and down the stairs late at night. The hotel is definitely not 4 stars (barely 2) and is definitely not worth the money paid.”

Djh Youth Hostel Hellenthal
3.8

Platiß 3, 53940 Hellenthal, Germany

“Single rooms upstairs are on the small side but very clean, You have a sink in the room, shared shower and toilet. Staff are very friendly. Great location”

Djh Jugendherberge Reken
3.8
( 8 reviews )

Coesfelder Str. 18, 48734 Reken, Germany

“For a youth hostel it's ok but if you are planning a vacation and want to rent a room there I would suggest not to because the place doesn't have kitchen or a fridge. Basically just a place to sleep and leave the next day.”
