“We had a 200+ person conference here for a week. The rooms could be a tiny bit nicer, but all the facilities, the conference rooms and community rooms are modern and well cared for. Especially remarkable was the service and the kitchen. The hostel management was very supportive and uncomplicated and Frank and his team prepared very good food, taking care of everybody’s diet and allergies. There was always a good vegan option, as well as a salad buffet. Thank you very much!”

“The location is very convenient and it's not that far away from the city center. Moreover, it's close to Darmstadt's historical places (Hochzeit-Turm for example). This youth hostel is really very ideal for weekend seminars. “I was there for a Event of the Student representation from Friday till Sunday. The Great Room for our Event was very good inclusive the Toilet which was directly attended. Only the sockets was to less. The sleeping rooms are very old and only fit the standard of a cheap hostel. But it was acceptable for sleeping only. The Breakfast wss good and the other Meals okay but nothing special, quality like a normal cafeteria. All together the Jugendherberge is a cheap possibility for an event but affords only the basic things in a acceptable quality.”

“The place is great to stay at with clean rooms and showers. We have been here with larger groups multiple times and were always more than happy with the housing. The food is not the best though. Although we're not soiled and don't have the biggest expectation we were not quite happy with it for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was great. With that in mind I would recommend staying here.”
