“The room and venue itself was clean and in order. The staff however were rude to me and other guests, were unable to recognise a Credencial for the #jakobsweg (even though they advertise themselves as a pilgrims hostel), and made no effort to communicate with guests of other languages. This was the case both morning and evening. The English information on the website and in the brochures at the venue omit information that a membership is necessary for staying at the facility. All in all, lacking in basic hospitality.”

“We arrived to the Hotel late at night and didn't have any problems getting into our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy but we had to put the beedsheets on ourselves. We also ordered breakfast because we stayed for a while but the breakfast didn't meet our expectations. The breakfast was one bread with honey and jam for the whole week. Also the rooms didn't have any towels, which for me was also dissapointing since I didn't take mine with me but they had towels for extra cost which you had to buy from the reception. We also had to stay and wait for a while for the receptionist to come and give us the towels.”

“It's ok and I guess good value. The place was generally clean and tidy but not particularly attractive or nice. The rooms have four bunk beds and an individual bathroom. The bathroom was clean and fairly good. The room is nothing special. The corridors and common areas smelt strange. We were holding presentations in a private seminar room which was fine. There was lots of construction work going on during our time there which was loud at some points. The food was not great. On the days we stayed there was a single meat option and the meat was fairly dry and everything was flavourless. Overall the experience was fine and didn't cost so much but I wouldn't go back.”
