“Totally, that was our the best choice to stay in Madrid. It's very central (at Gran Via). The stuff was really helpful and our room was so cute even though it's quite small. Some rooms don't have doors for toilets but it wasn't a big issue for us. If you would like to stay here, you definetely choose breakfast included. I am not a breakfast person but this was amazing! We provided the requested information but 2 days later our reservation got cancelled. Estefania needs more training in hospitality industry ,problem solving and honesty. This is not a good example of the well known ,cordial Spanish hospitality.”

“It is a perfect location right at puerta de sol. Staff not so kind. I booked over the phone and was told 50 euros but when I arrived the guy quickly changed and said he told me 60 euros. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors. Had a very noisy neighbor who talked with the phone till very late at night. Staff was not as helpful. Clean rooms and a big enough size. Location of the socket was not good if you want to work with computer at the desk. The idea of curtain for the bathtub is not great. Lots of flooding as you take a shower.”

“Our family of three had a tiny room barely big enough for the beds and no space for luggage. The door didn't even close without having to push it past the bed. But the main reason for the 1 star is that our room was broken into our first night while we were out to dinner. The door frames are very cheaply made. Oddly, nothing was stolen but it was upsetting. We had to repeatedly ask the management to fix the door and nothing was done to make things right. We were told we couldn't be moved to another room until our last night there, even though the room next to us became available. There are no additional facilities - no common areas, no self-catering. Just a room and that's it. Some of the rooms seem to be of a good size but as stated ours was very small. There was no fridge. The hotel has security problems. It can be accessed by anyone through the back by entering through the main building doors which were never locked. There was even a ladder propped up near the back windows making it easy to climb up to access the unbarred upper windows. Repeated attempts to address this were met with indifference by the front desk staff and I was told to contact the owner. I emailed, called, and sent a whatsapp and never got a response.”

“It’s hard to review this place as it’s different from many other hostels. We tried it because my son really wanted to try the capsule ordeal. If you compare with another hostel, this one will give you way less space than others will. You can’t freely walk in the room and they only have two bathrooms for all three capsules. It’s extremely noisy. Not only with other capsule neighbors but every time someone new arrives, the staff will enter to tell them all the instructions and it’s honestly bothersome, specially when it happens at 1am. The capsules are crammed on top of each other on one aisle and some are next to the bathrooms with direct light and noise on you. I prefer a traditional hostel and for the price, a traditional hostel would give you more space and a longer stay. A place like this would work much better as many do in Japan…. Rent it to nap or to rest in between trips but for a regular all night trip I would go somewhere else.”

“The stay here was an excellent choice for the price. The hotel was simple, cozy, and clean, offering great value. They also had convenient vending machines that provide a variety of food, beverages, and even toiletries. The room, while lacking a cupboard for storing luggage, did have a few hangers for clothes. To be noted that the bathroom design might be a bit unusual due to a shared door design. They also provide with soap, shampoo and clean towels. While the staff was generally friendly, it's essential to mention that there was a slight incident where the cleaning staff entered the room without any notice, which was highly inappropriate. Despite this, the overall experience, including a smooth check-in and check-out process, was positive. Additionally, the location was fantastic, with easy access to the metro and bus services, which allowed us to explore nearby places on foot as well.”
