“We stayed for 7 nights in a sea view club room. The resort is located in a beautifully rural part of the island, it’s secluded and peaceful - here you can truly relax. The beach is beautiful and clean and you enjoy true paradise views across the ocean. However the water is not clear enough for snorkeling and the fish are very scared of people due to spear fishing. The location also means there are no restaurants or shops at an easy distance from the hotel, so we had all our meals at location. The resort grounds are expansive and are set on a cliff side, but golf buggies take where you need to go if you’re not fond of walking up and down the hillside. We really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the resort, however due to the secludedness we were a bit disappointed with the food. We had all our meals onsite and unfortunately none of the food was great. Everything was mediocre or good at best, and quite often under seasoned and/or overcooked. Breakfast was similarly good but nothing to write home about, but I do give them kudos for consistently getting the cooking of the poached eggs right. Highly recommend the Air Bar for cocktails around sunset - the drinks I had there were some of the best I’ve had ever. The resort is well maintained and beautiful. From the room itself you can tell its age, mainly from the fact that the plumbing makes an awful lot of noise when you flush the toilet for a good while after, and the aircon was also very loud even on the lowest setting. Room itself was well appointed and spacious, and we enjoyed the generous balcony overlooking the ocean. Lastly service at the resort is extremely attentive and mostly impeccable - this is really where the hotel shines. We were very well taken care of by all of the staff at every interaction and everyone seemed very genuinely kind and attentive and we were taken well care of when I got sick during our stay. We had some issues at breakfast from time to time (tardiness or getting our order wrong) but nothing that could not be overcome. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and this is a great hideaway for anyone looking to truly relax and be well taken care of - but personally would expect considerable improvements on the food before considering a return visit.”

“Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Amazing staff, all were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful, luxurious rooms. The private pool on the balcony was a highlight for me. Beautiful picturesque pool area. The dinning area is overlooking the pool, the whole place is in such a beautiful setting. The food was also fantastic, champagne served with breakfast at weekends :) I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday here and the staff organised a chocolate cake which was left in my room. Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“Easily the nicest beachfront hotel on Kamala beach. We loved taking morning walks with coffee along the shore. We paid to upgrade to a pool access room and I’m very glad we did as it made using the pool a lot easier. When our flight got delayed, the reception team worked hard to arrange a later check out for us despite being fully booked. They could have just said no and kicked us out onto the street. I am so incredibly thankful they were willing to help.”

“The setting of the hotel in the river is fantastic and like almost everywhere in Thailand the staff is very friendly, but relaxing on the private (sun) deck connected to the room is impossible. Due to the connection of the deck to the room everything shakes back and forth quite a bit when a boat passes by (and that is every 3-4 minutes). This must and can be improved.”

“I never write reviews but I felt obliged to. Firstly, the design of the hotel is very contemporary and minimalistic with Thai accents. The rooms are spotless and maintained to the highest standards too. They also supply fresh fruit every day to your room which is a nice touch. The general vibe is perfect to escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok! The location is ideal and is very central. The staff were extremely warm and very helpful with any requests on restaurants and sights to see. The breakfast was very good with a decent buffet selection and any eggs made fresh, as well as sweet options. One of the hidden gems for me is the free yoga classes for guests available every morning in the spa at 8am (I probably will regret telling anyone else about this now). The yoga teachers are extremely friendly and it’s the perfect way to start the day. The only criticism I have is that the facade of the building needs a fresh lick of paint. However, overall I could not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you 🙏🏻”

“In general, a beautiful hotel/resort. We've stayed in the Boat House, which was spacious and well decorated. One of the most adventures hotel rooms I've stayed so far. Unfortunately, there were some minor flaws like (1) the smell in the toilet next to the bathroom, coming from the A/C,l made using this toilet unbearable. (2) The plug-in and the night stand for the person sleeping next to the entrance are missing. (3) Some of the pillows on the outside have already started moulding. The overall environment in the resort was beautiful and was spreading vacation vibes. A lot of trees and plants were well taken care of. The pool, which was connecting all the rooms, is amazing to swim in. The beach was clean and there is enough space for all guests. The food and drinks in the restaurant are quite overpriced for what you get. For example, a coconut was more than 200 baht. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of Western food like bread, sausage, cereals. They are also offering Boat noodles. Unfortunately not in the traditional taste but rather in a very mild taste compared to what you get at local places. Unfortunately, the breakfast selection doesn't change throughout the days, so you might get boring of the selection if you stay too long. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive, having always a smile on the face.”
