“Ruth's hotel is a lovely hotel with the nicest staff. It is cozy with lovely rooms. I wouldn't call it a spa hotel. A heated indoor pool at 30 degrees and 2 small cabins with sauna and steam bath for about 4 people. There are many other places in the same price range that have much better spas ♀️ 🤷. The food is delicious and well prepared, including soups. A 3-course menu costs DKK 495, which is an okay price. But why only 4 and not 5 stars. There is a small kind of snobbishness in the hotel anyway. There are glasses of white wine on the tables. And if you order a red wine for DKK 500, it will be served in white wine glasses and if you buy something expensive, the glasses will be replaced with a nice red wine glass. I just wonder why. 2 more glasses in the dish shouldn't be a problem. They were two pleasant days in Skagen... and we will probably come again one day❤️”

Also they only have 1 bedroom so it makes you reconsider choices made when traveling with a kid. Some playgrounds but no swimming pools or whatsoever. The old city is nice though, and only 5 minutes walking away.”

“My Girlfriend and i stayed for 2 nights at Manon Les Suites for the Weekend. The room was super cozy and clean. You get everything you need like a rope, slippers, toothbrush etc. The Highlight was definitely the pool which is open from 08:00-22:00. In the morning it’s calm and in the evening it’s a great vibe with music. We can recommend this place especially for couples.”

“Large rooms (~25m2) not too far from a major station. There is a supermarket downstairs but not much else in the immediate vicinity. One of the best choices for people traveling with dogs. Overall a great choice with our dogs as the charges were fair (by # of days). 500dkk for 4 nights (same price up to a week). Had to call to ask about the rates though but the staff were professional and friendly over the phone so it wasn’t a huge deal. Might be a good idea to list the prices on the website. Some drawbacks: no sponge/cleaning cloth in the room despite there being a kitchenette. There was no stove in our room despite seeing them in the pictures on the room on booking.com. Late checkout for an hour would have cost 150dkk. Perhaps times are changing but I’ve never been charged for a late checkout. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for the large rooms, dog friendliness and great service.”

“Value for money is disappointing. We spend one night on our way to Copenhagen at the hotel. The rooms and venue are quite nice. Nevertheless we were very disappointed by the stuff and their service. We just did not feel welcomed. In the end unfortunately we forgot some items in the room and asked for them to be returned on our costs but E-Mails were not answered and on the phone they claimed not to have found anything. - After posting the review, they suddenly found our missing item. However they did not want to send it via tracking on our own costs but just send it as a letter and the package never showed up. After sending multiple emails, to which no one ever responded, they hung up on the phone multiple times. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful way from people working at a hotel. Further more the food at the restaurant, which was ok, was way overpriced. And the prices for the drinks were ridiculous: 10€ for one beer. This stay was a super disappointing start to our holiday! Can not recommend staying there at all.”
