“A lovely and serene place to stay, just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Old Quebec. We stayed in mid-December while taking in the German Christmas market. It's a little cultural and historical experience, with much of the lower floor area dedicated to the museum about the Augustines. The museum was well curated and has an extensive collection of static and video displays. We stayed in a conventional hotel room with an en-suite bath. The king+ bed was soft and comfortable. Guests can also stay in a renovated nun's cell and use the shared bathrooms on the floor. Our package included the tasty and nutritious breakfast. With silent dining, it added to the peace in the whole facility. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly and outgoing and readily accommodating to our poor command of French. This would be our first choice when visiting Québec City in the future.”

“Auberge de la Pointe was highly recommended to me by a friend, and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly situated for my itinerary but would be worth a detour even if it had not been. The room was very nice with a lovely deck from which to enjoy the spectacular view. I enjoyed a nice relaxed dinner in the restaurant and was able to be back on my deck to watch the sunset. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating of my poor French, especially the charming young man at the front desk when I was checking in. I was so tired from driving that I was struggling with any language! My only complaint would be that my stay was not long enough and next time I will definitely stay longer.”

“We stayed two nights. If you have allergies this hotel is great. No curtain's the blackout blinds are fantastic not a stitch of light comes through. Plenty of hard surfaces. Bathroom tub is clean and bigger than normal. Door to the bathroom is a sliding which is amazing because the bathroom feels so much bigger. Breakfast was just enough choices. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I hope to see more of these on our future trips.”

Our dinner at the restaurant was incredible - limited menu but excellent dishes, beautifully presented and good portion sizes. Things I think the room are lacking: a coffee table in the couch/living room area, a small kitchenette (sink, microwave/toaster), a dresser for clothes and some artwork/decorations.”

“I can't believe I didn't do a review last year, but it is coming up on the one-year anniversary since we ate there. In short: this is one of the best meals I have purchased in my life. We wandered in during lunch and found it empty. We walked back to find the owner vacuuming. "Hard to hire help" so he only has dinner. He was so pleasant that we came back for dinner, and we are so glad we did. You can see by the picture that there is artistry in the preparation. The tastes were distinct when necessary and the blends were perfect. Thank you for a perfect meal!”

“We had a fantastic 4 night stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the hospitality was top notch. The location was just a few blocks from town, so we could comfortably walk everywhere. The breakfast was very good and all the extra little touches, such as very nice umbrellas at the front on the rainy days and the water given to you each night, really made you feel welcome. The front desk took care of booking a cab a couple of times for us as well. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.”

“The hotel itself is very beautiful from the outside and the room was nice as well. Moreover, the pool is really beautiful and there was no one else so we had it all to ourselves which was a nice touch to our stay at the hotel. However, the spa isn't that big and I suppose you'd have to share it with strangers which kinda sucks. The only thing that was a negative is the lack of staff and the lack of tv channels to watch. The price was reasonable.”

“We only stayed for one night with our kids. Pro The location isn't far from the village and has a nice private beach. The staff was very nice. Has dinning options on site. The suite with kitchenette have all the essential like pots, cutlery and dishes. Cons The lodge is very outdated. Our room was dirty upon arrival, there was dust here and there and one of our toilets was clogged. The pool is dated as well, and did not look really clean when we went to use it so we stuck to the beach. All in all, it may be the best option for a family getaway in the area.”

“Location was convenient, and liked the fact that you need your key card to use the elevator is nice. That's about the end of good. When we checked in they undercharged us without our knowledge so when they charged us after the stay it was almost 100$ extra a room. Whenever they talked about the deposit which what they initially took was they claim Its supposed to be 50$ a night which it was more. When we initially called to book our rooms we confirmed about getting a crib only to be told after check in they didn't have one for us. When we checked out they said they would only take the deposit that we would just be refunded any extra. When I showed the receptionist the difference in the deposit even they said that's wrong. Since we checked out we've now been charged twice for the rooms and the manager had said they would deal with (call the bank to get info so our money would be refunded or taken off a hold) and call back as soon as they were done. We have yet to still receive a call from them and our deposit is still pending which is making us unable to access any of our money for another week as of right now. Will NOT be coming back here again”

The staff is very friendly, the service at the valet parking was very good and the hotel is well located and within walking distance of many local attractions!”
