“The hotel was perfect for our beginning of the year's escape. The rooms are big and well equipped, the hotel is new and extremely clean, it was very nice decorated for Christmas, the SPA zone very diversified and well maintained. The breakfast was spectacular, and I can say that irrespective of how picky you are, it is impossible not to like it. The minuses or aspects that could be improved are the quality of the pillows, the limited options for vegetarians at dinner, and the very sleepery floor in the SPA zone. All in one, we definitely recommend the hotel, especially in winter.”

“Very nice place to enjoy and relax together with all family members. The beach area is not great, small and not enough sun-beds. Regarding food must be said that the sweets /cakes are average quality, fish dish must be improved. Italian restaurant is very good place for lunch /dinner (part of "all inclusive" ). It is a spot of difference above all. Pasta / pizza/cakes very good quality. Staff members need to improve their English and must learn to SMILE. Over all the 5 * ultra all inclusive must deliver better services than I found here. Enjoy and relax!”

“One of the most luxurious hotel/villa on the whole sea side, it is build so modern, shick, elegant, luxury. Rooms are amazing, restaurants it is of high level, swimming pool and beach is exactly in front with bar and relaxing music. Views are amazing, and at night time everything is so magical. The villa it's located behind Astor garden hotel, it has large paid parking. Amazing place. I recommend 👌 👏 👍”

“After asking me to park my car at the private parking they have available (20 leva per day) i was announced that my car key was misplaced or lost. ( they kept the car key as they had to move the cars around to accommodate everyone ). After more than 10 hours talking back and forth with the hotel staff manager and parking manager no solution has been found. They simply do not care about their clients and their needs. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay. The room was spacious, with a bathroom floor that prevented stumbling, and the bedroom was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast offered delicious options and I appreciated the variety of drinks beyond just orange juice, particularly enjoying the pomegranate and orange detox. The massage was fantastic, providing much-needed relaxation after a day of travel. The skilled masseur left a lasting impression, prompting me to book another appointment on my next visit to Varna. My only suggestion is to consider using essential oils for their therapeutic benefits to enhance the overall experience. On a note of dissatisfaction, I paid for a room with a city view but received a view of the neighbors, which was disappointing.”

“Everything about this hotel is amazing. The rooms are modern and clean. Maids clean your room and give you new towels every day, they are also very nice and friendly. The food was really delicious and there was always new food to choose from every day. They were always serving a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also great, i really liked the music they were playing and you can also sit outside and enjoy the view. Waiters and waitresses are very nice, polite, are always in a good mood and smiling. The pool is clean and the cocktails are also amazing and tasty. Location of this hotel is great, it’s only about 5 minutes away from the beach. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel to the fullest. It was an amazing experience.”

“The hotel is pretty nice, very clean, right next on the beautiful beach with own sunbeds, tennis court, bowling and good restaurant. Staff both at reception, bar and restaurant are very helpful and rooms are big, with smart tvs, great sea view and good size pool. The manager lady was there all day long, also ready to help if needed, always with a smile. Food was good quality for all inclusive hotel, fresh juice and espresso coffee on breakfast, salads, meats, fresh pizza during lunch and dinner. “The hotel is OLD! You can always find something broken, that nobody is going to fix. It gives the impression that once it was built, many years ago, it hasn’t been renovated since then. You can NOT set the air-conditioning! It’s always the same temperature!😔 The internet is absolutely awful!!! It always disconnects and the manager seems to not care much about that,bragging with the fact that the hotel has good reputation, that they are fully booked in the summer and that already speaks a lot.😁 Moreover, it isn’t his problem that I had to work and go online during our stay at the hotel. It seemed quite rude of him to say that.😕 There is NO animation at the hotel, nothing! At 12pm all the lights go out. So, I wouldn’t recommend it for young couples, who are planning on having a good time. Oh, there is mojito on the beach, but it is served without lemon, lime and mint. 😂 There is no mojito in the lobby bar, though. There are just 5 cocktails that are all-inclusive. No warm snacks, only cold sandwiches and cakes from the previous evening meal and you can only find these in the lobby bar, you need to pay for snacks in the beach bar. The food is delicious, though. The waiters are doing their best, too.🙂”

And more shocking was, that neither the personal, nor the managers could do anything about this disaster... on the other hand - such sad personal... I have done my best to try to bring them to smile, but nothing helped. We wouldn't make a second try with this hotel... better really pay bit more and have a good and smiling time.. But respect to the cook or supporter cook, I am not sure - he always served you even the simple eggs with a smile”

“Very nice place to stay in Golden sands. Around 5 min walk to the main beach and center. Apartments are fairly big and spacious, fully equipped kitchen and AC. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels provided. Sheets changed every 3 days. On floor 2 is a small size pool. Parking is in front of the bldg with reserved spaces. Mr Stefan, the owner is a very kind and welcoming host, speaking good English. There are two issues we didn't like. First is the bathroom. There's no bordered shower space, but the entire space is used for showering so the water goes all around you, around the basin and around the toilet. A small drainage cannot accept that water volume, so it gets flooded quickly. This is very unconvenient for use and also not hygienic. The second issue is the outer AC unit on balcony, which makes it impossible to sit there when it's on. All in all, ignoring those, it's a good holiday acommodation with a reasonable price.”

“That must be one of the hardest reviews to write. The staff is amazing very calm,friendly and patient. We have arrived late but the staff was aware of our arrival so the food was waiting for us. A+++ . The food was traditional ( nothing modern or luxury) cooked to perfection. We have tried a few items and everything was amazing, reminds me of my grandma's cooking 🍳. The location is amazing, we had a room on the 10th floor with the most amazing view of the sea 🌊 and the entire resort. Unfortunately that is where the good experience ends. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the thermal mineral pool. The advertised water temperature is 32-36 on this day the thermometer in the water was showing 27. So the pool was cold the shower in the pool area had only cold water and the pool walls ware extremely dirty, changed colour from blue to orange from grime and dirt. Absolutely disgusting, my wife refused to go to the edges of the pool as she did not wanted to touch the walls. The entire building is fallen in disrepair, I have noticed two different rates for renovated and standard rooms. So it looks like some of the money are reinvested in renovation, I hope the management will be able to freshen this place up before it is two late. Such a shame 😞.”

“Nice and quite place for a relaxing vacation. Do not expect much of accomodation, for me it's was a place to stay all day at the beach and just go to wash yourself and sleep in the bungalow. The stuff is kind, the food was ok but you don't have much of a choice to make. You can take animals.”
