Week days are quieter. Sheltered river mouth ( the Moore river) not open to the sea. A lovely long sandy sea front. An excellent family park if you can get a spot. Book early.”

“I recently stayed at this hotel in Perth and found it to be a mixed bag. On the plus side, the location is excellent and the room is spacious. One of the standout features for me was the convenient parking—just a short walk to the check-in lobby. Additionally, the property is all on one level, making it easy to get to the room without having to lug suitcases up or down stairs. However, there were a few drawbacks that detracted from the overall experience. The lighting in the room is dim, which can be a bit frustrating if you’re trying to read. The soundproofing leaves much to be desired; I was easily disturbed by the noise from the in-house restaurant until late at night, as well as by early morning vacuuming. The sound from the TV in the next room was also audible. Lastly, the water heater was quite erratic, with hot water suddenly turning cold. If you’re a light sleeper or need stable water temperature, this might not be the place for you. However, if convenience and accessibility are your primary concerns, this hotel has that covered.”

Andrew and Jules have created a truely special place to visit where animals are freely available for interacting with as much or as little as you like. “Cannot fault anything here. It’s an amazing spot and we were lucky enough to have chalet three which looks over the water. The spot is beautiful and the service was impeccable. Incredibly happy with our stay. It’s located close to all the regular fun spots (especially kid friendly ones) down south. “Cannot recommend this place enough. Stayed here during our tour of the WA coast and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Check in was easy, sites were generous in size with the pick of whichever suited you best and have obviously been lovingly tended. Wonderful live music provided in the comfort of cool fans near the pools, sung by a bloke with a golden personality. The historic and quirky decorations were wonderful and the whole experience was great. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to family and friends for their travels.”
