The room was clean, the linens new, and the room was refreshed daily. The staff were friendly and made good recommendations on places to eat and park the car. One particular gentleman in reception was very kind, he often came to meet me at the front doors and would carry my bike up the stairs for me. The staff in the breakfast lounge were pleasant and friendly. I would return to stay here again.”

“This place is very special. It’s a hidden gem that I want to keep all to myself but they deserve the business from everyone. The service is phenomenal and the rooms are updated and well maintained with very nice views. The staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive, from the restaurant, to the front desk, to the cleaning crew, to the porters. The location is a bit away from the popular touristy areas but still good. There is no train station in this town but the ferry is right in front of the hotel and taxis are easy to obtain (or you can rent a car). The area itself is beautiful and peaceful and quiet at night (the restaurants all shut down before midnight so no real nightlife). Staying here is like living inside a dream. A great place for artists, dreamers, and those that want to immerse themselves in a picturesque Italian coastal town, while still staying in luxurious and convenient accommodations.”

“We’ve choose the hotel for a night after long day trip, because it’s on the beach and looks nice on the fotos. It was a nice location near the beach, and the beach is beautiful, but! For 1 night stay we’ve paid 280 EUR and : no bottle of water in a room, no breakfast, no parking near hotel. Parking was too far - 10-15 min walk , before you need to park a car in a car-free zone with a parking ban , for max. 5 minutes to pick up luggage from car. It was a challenge by 35 degrees. It difficult to find information about it if you want to book, if there any information about it exists. Our Appartements wasn’t modern or new, it was with a street view, pretty busy with cars. So for this price without almost all hotel services is too expensive.”

The roof deck swimming pool is a nice touch, but the lack of amenities like umbrellas and convenient towel service are glaring omissions. Be prepared to shell out an extra 50 euros for beach chairs, and don't expect a four-star dining experience by the beach either. In summary, if you're choosing this hotel for its location and ocean views, you won't be disappointed. Just be cautious about your expectations for luxury and service, as this hotel falls short of its 4-star claims.”
