“A great hotel with great people. The food at the restaurant was delicious, everything that we ordered was more than great. The breakfast is very complete and you have a lot of local food to taste. It is the first hotel that I've been that has the pool open 24 hours and the sauna and laconium 12 hours, from 9 to 9. In your room they give you a hat and a bag that you can take home, they give you sandals and a robe to use during your stay. A great experience, i don't know why it only has 4 stars when it should have 5!!”

“The best hotel in Ponta Delgada. We were stopping by this island for one day and best choice we made. Beautiful clean room and luxurious bedding. Hotel staff are all friendly and professional . What a great location! 8 min from the airport and you can walk to the major town with restaurants and shopping. Ours came with the breakfast buffet and food was really good. As we leave early to the airport, they prepared coffee bar with pastry, just for us. Valet parking is only $12 . Value is incredible and we really had an amazing time. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Overall a wonderful stay. The front desk staff were so wonderfully nice and accommodating. We had a couple of issues with our rooms, first a water damaged ceiling issue they told us about and gave us option to stay or move (damage wasn't that noticeable) but they moved us to another room with terrace. Then the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. They promptly sent someone to look at it but it's wasn't fixable without parts. The front desk sent us a fruit basket along with a very nice apologia note. The ocean views was incredible, it''s ocean front but the black sand beach is about a 2 min walk. There is a big grocery store across the street. Several restaurants within walking distance. We had dinner there our first night and food was pretty good. The spa was ok. The indoor "heated" pool was pretty chilly and the sauna was only working "sometimes". We didn't have a treatment but the rooms were nice and had two for couples. We left early for our flight so they made us to-go bags. The only thing I would fix would be the breakfast staff. There was only one young man that was incredibly pleasant, everyone else was a bit cold. They all seemed unhappy to be there.”

“Our stay here was lovely, perfect location, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms were clean, and the views were amazing from my window. All of the staff was great and helpful, but a big shout out to Elsa, she made our experience there top-notch. We brought our toddler, who also loved Elsa! Thank you to all the staff there who made our stay unforgettable. 🙌 Only downside was the size of the elevator, but that's not a huge issue, and I understand that a lot of the elevators are small. 😅”

“We stayed last week for a day as we were going to other island next day. We had request ed for early checkin when booking as our flight arriving @ 10 am and checking was @ 4.00 pm when we arrived @ 11.30 they denied us early checkin the staff was not friendly . The rooms are very small and no amenities. We were also leaving early next morning and requested to go bag for breakfast. They didn’t give us a go bag or no food or even a muffin or fruit was kept outside only a coffee machine was available. It is in middle of downtown the location is not great and not enough parking space. Hard to maneuver your vehicular in those small streets of pontadelgada along with street parking. Staff is almost rude and very unfriendly. Would not recommend this hotel at all.”

“Upon arrival, the extensive carpeting of the hotel had been cleaned, resulting in a pungent smell throughout the hotel(good luck if you suffer from allergies). Our room was comfortable but dark with just a little, high placed little window. The weak points are breakfast and concierge service. No decent fruit juice in a 4* hotel is deceiving. As for outside restaurant reservations , diy as advanced reservation doesn’t mean a thing to the concierge. Finally, the lunch box that we received due to our early departure was just ridiculous. If those last points are improved, the hotel can be become a good recommendation.”

“Our stay here was only a few nights, but we had a great time! The whole place from the lobby and dining area to the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in a Prime Villa and the view was spectacular from the terrace as well as from the three picture windows in each room. It made it difficult to want to leave for our activities each day. We also had an assigned parking spot right outside reception and just down the stairs from our room. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and we ate there 2 out of 3 nights. The dining room is small and cozy and everything felt very intimate to the guests staying there. It was easy to get there by car and fairly equidistant to the various sights on the island. This was the best lodging experience I’ve had and would definitely stay here again.”
