“Nice little hotel with great views over the lake. Breakfast and lunch was very good but the dinner was very underwhelming. They obviously (as the prices point out) have the ambition to make fine dining food but either the tastes are going in all directions or not there at all. We had high expectations for the night but left the dinner very disappointed. I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel but eat your dinner elsewhere.”

“I want to say a huge thank you for such a fantastic magical stay with you. From the moment we arrived we were met with such fantastic hospitality from the most friendly team and this continued throughout our whole stay. The hotel is is situated on the most beautiful grounds. There is a small vineyard where they make their own wine - must try it’s very good! There is also a small working farm with goats, chickens, small horse etc all before the view of the lake. Beautiful friendly dogs to cuddle too! There is an outdoor bar aria overlooking the views and the hotel also has its own restraint which I highly recommend! Make sure you book as it’s that good! Fresh pasta, wine - stunning! Breakfast in the morning is also perfect with a mixture of food served on a board per table with coffee & Juice. The vibe of this hotel is as though a family have invited you to stay in their home but without it being someone’s house. The hotel and room was rustic but clean with everything you need for your stay. The room also has air con for heating or cool air. Highly highly recommend, so glad we came and will be back if we ever find ourselves in Italy again. Thank you everyone :)”

“My fiance booked our stay here for the new years, and considering the price - we were both disappointed and left with a bitter taste. 1. The rooms were basic, we got lake view but the view was blocked by their building in front so we couldn't enjoy it properly. The hotel decor was like going to your grandfathers house, they did not both to at least make the hotel look nice except for a christmas tree. 2. The service was...nothing to sing about. The waiters would not ask us if we wanted tea or coffee during breakfast until like 10 minutes after arrival so we made it ourselves. We would also ask them for things and they would say "yes" but not actually do it. Things you request for seemed ignored and the staff felt like they did not want to be there (I get it, it was new years day...but its work no?). Even we said "happy new year" TWICE to one of the staff and they completely ignored us both times. 3. We PAID for parking. which to us was insane. 24 euros for parking for 1 night despite spending almost £400 on the stay, and also spending an additional £200 on dinner there. Its not a lot, but is so cheap of the hotel to make you pay for this. 4. The fireworks display for the hotel happened 30 minutes AFTER new years midnight lol. So we went outside to watch the fireworks from everywhere else (in Lake Como) then returned to our hotel and then the hotel did their firework display (how unsatisfying). 5. Lastly, the walls are so thin you hear everyone from the reception area to the lobby and to next room. The hotel dinner food was good though so 1 star for that, and the location was good also (I mean...its Lake Como...) another star for that. However, it is a budget hotel all in all, we absolutely will not be returning.”

“I recently stayed at Hotel Venchi in Sirmione and had a great experience. The service was impeccable and the location was very convenient for exploring the town and Lake Garda. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and with modern decor. The hotel's restaurant offers a stunning view of the lake. The breakfast itself includes several very good options. One minor drawback was the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom, which allowed light to pass through at night. It was a small inconvenience, but everything else about the hotel more than made up for it.”

Be careful if you are under 18, and you are travelling without your parents, they won’t book you without an authorization signed by both parents. “I had an extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel due to the constant barking of dogs throughout the night. It turns out that there is a dog custody right next to the hotel, likely for owners to leave their dogs during the Easter holiday. The dogs were left to themselves in a confined area and barked non-stop throughout the night, making it impossible for me to get any sleep. I also couldn't help but feel sorry for the dogs, who were clearly unhappy and distressed. Despite my repeated complaints to the front desk, nothing was done to address the issue. This made my stay a complete nightmare and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a peaceful and quiet environment.”
