“My wife and I are not wealthy by any stretch, but we saved up for a long time to be able to come out here from the states. We absolutely enjoyed our 3 night stay at Semeli. When we saw the outside of the hotel, we were a bit skeptical, (because it seems smaller from the outside) but from the minute we walked in, we were treated with outstanding customer service. We were a little early, but they allowed us to check and brought our luggage to our room. The resort itself is gorgeous and humble at the same time. We even enjoyed just hanging around in the lounge and swimming pool, because of the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful open air design of the resort. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel to someone who want to stay somewhere nice.”

“Amazing experience from the moment we were collected from the airport. Welcome drink whilst checking in, and reception staff showing us to our room. Had a room upgrade and the sea view room with jacuzzi is highly recommended. Breakfast was a 5 star experience with it being impossible to choose from the options on the menu. Had a better experience for breakfast than the highly rated - overpriced restaurants on the island. Staff in the restaurant/bar are 10/10. Reception staff are attentive and help in every way possible including advice on best places to go and taxis being ordered easily. Also ordering dominos at 1am for me is a life saver. Only faults I could find is the swimming pool being a little too cold and the walk back from paradise beach being a little tight on the hamstrings. Could possibly be the best hospitality I’ve ever received at a hotel.”

“The rooms are very old and not very well cared for. There weren't any functional design or user-friendly thoughts while setting the hotel. There are no electricity sockets at the bed head. Because there are no windows or air systems in the bathroom, it smells funky. The toilet paper and the towels get wet if you take a shower. The windows and walls have no soundproof, so you can hear the other guests cough and talk and the music coming from the bar. The hotel is situated up in a hill, and going out for a walk is risky because the road has no sidewalk. The employees are very friendly and helpful and attend to your needs promptly. Not everything is planned in detail how you expect from a boutique hotel. The beach set is also not very well cared for or good planned for the weather conditions.”

“Impossible to sleep If your room is next to the restaurant, you won’t be able to sleep until at least 3am. You can hear the loud music as if you were in a nightclub, I’m 21 and very used to sleeping in all conditions but that is simply not acceptable for a 3 stars hotel. Absolutely no one apologized or offered me some kind of compensation when I got out of my room I midnight. They simply don’t care. I understand they can’t turn the volume down for the comfort of one client since the bar is part of their business, but then it’s extremely dishonest to put this room up for reservations without at least a warning. As I said I’m usually not easily bothered but this is just unacceptable. Don’t go there if you intend to sleep at night”

“Overall hotel was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly like Andreas, Emily, and Stavros. The rooms were very nice and the pool area is beautiful. The inclusive breakfast was amazing and the food at the restaurant is also very good. The walk to Mykonos town is about 20 minutes downhill and the same back uphill when you come back which is the only thing people should know before staying here. The entire experience staying here was amazing and I genuinely have no complaints. Would definitely recommend for a calm and cozy hotel experience.”
