“We booked as an “in between” stop on our way back home from a holiday and what an awesome choice it was!! In the evening you are going to take great pictures of the castle which is lit. And in the morning- most beautiful breakfast with stunning views and rising sun down the valley. Do make sure to visit the Schloss Johannisberg with wine tastings and shop. Great place!”

“one word: mixed. Positive aspects was the family friendly staff and the fact that the parking lot could currently be accessed at any time for a fixed daily price. Negative points: two small elevators with long waiting times, no view because the window had a privacy screen to the outside. The room was not up to date, a light bulb fell out of the socket in the bathroom, the TV in the living room was hidden in a cupboard for coffee and tea and on very low position, a wardrobe was placed in the middle of the living room infront of the couch instead in the bedroom. The breakfast area was far too small and the selection was limited to basic. All in all, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not convincing.”

“Hotel Zum Grunen Baum Well we were recommended this place for lunch by lady at the Jerusalem boutique and I am glad she did. What a beautiful place positioned just outside the town walls it is a lovely place to sit and eat in the sunshine we ordered drinks and they soon arrived our meals were not far behind, The food we got was superb we could not ask for better even though it was a touch of pot luck as our German is not great, mine I later found out was fried place with salad my wife had a assortment of cold meats with salad and assortment bread with a glass of the local fire water, which was spot on, we both said we would order that meal again as it was to our liking. The service was excellent what more can I say, Will we return on our next visit to the town Yes we will.”

“One of my least favorite memory's, I was handed a single room , what was nor so friendly, i told the receptionist I would like one with a balcony 😅, there it was problematic. Then they entered my room to put me a bill 4 extra services because of the accommodation, the thing is put on the door do not disturb sign, they could of called or emailed me, never the less no regards 4 privacy or intimacy. The lack of empathy and intimacy was explained there was an emergency with the eating, but in my room was no boiler. In all a horrible experience with pay 4 me. If u 2ant no privacy and to pay extra, go to this Hotel. 😤 I hope I will not be needing there services.”

“We stayed in Wiesbaden Germany for a night on our way back to Frankfurt. Picked this hotel off of Priceline. But actually got a better rate using the Oranien hotel web site to do our booking. It’s a wonderful property. Large rooms. Super clean. Well appointed amenities (including hair dryers, coffee in the room and bathroom products). The interior has all the old world charm you could ask for, and the staff were super friendly and helpful providing local directions and places of interest to see. The hotel is located directly adjacent to the Wiesbaden city center so everything is a short 5 minute walk. Perfect for getting around on foot. There is an on site car park that allows you to go in and out at your leisure - for only 14 euros a day. We loved this amenity, as we had a car and were able to drive to Mainz and the Rhine River valley without worrying about parking when we got back. We loved the hotel and found it to be a great value. Wish we had a few more nights there. Highly recommend”

“In all respects a typical Holiday Inn Express: - Good, but not perfect location From the train station, the hotel is very well reached by public transport. A bus stop is less than a 5-minute walk away. For guests with cars, there is an underground garage at affordable prices. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the old town. To a supermarket it is a good 5 minutes. - Equipped with everything you need The rooms are Holiday Inn Express typical small, but well equipped. Our room was clean, we had nothing to complain about. Next to the reception there is a bar and the breakfast room. - Good breakfast The included breakfast was good. Even a bit better than in most Holiday Inn Express. Both in terms of selection, but also the atmosphere and friendly staff. Even the tables are cleared quickly and friendly. Not even some luxury hotels can manage that nowadays. - Friendly staff The staff is consistently friendly and competent. This is not always a matter of course. Definitely a recommendation.”
