“Nice little hotel in the middle of the village. Fantastic breakfast, nice spa area with sauna and jacuzzi. Ample lounge area behind the reception. We found the room to be slightly on the small side, basically only a bed, but still of high standard, bathroom as well. There is a big public parking just a hundred meters away in case the hotel parking is full. A stroll through the park and a visit to the small harbour, as well as the long beach with the nice villas behind it, is well worth the time. If you visit in the summer, do not forget the ice cream factory as well!! We enjoyed our visit here!!”

“Super conveniently located, with clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff, from concierge to cleaning. Have stayed here multiple times and the rooms are all very consistent - spacious and spotless, although some of the fixtures have begun to show their age a little. The biggest fault is the noise pollution from the nearby roads and other guests: cleaning lorries consistently male a lot of noise between 6:30 and 7, and whilst the guests are generally the well-behaved variety, the inner walls are thin enough that you can hear every word of a reasonably quiet conversation. Honestly, though, the overall experience is grand. Happy to recommend!”

“Very down to earth feel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was a problem with one of our rooms which was solved the next day. Ours was a large room and I wouldn't suggest going for the smaller rooms. The food was outstanding. We were there for a few days days of hot weather and there are no room fans or ac. They should add room fans because there are more hot days than in the past. All in all great!”

“3,5 overall. This hotel is composed of a main building and a series of cottages. I was assigned a cottage, with two bedrooms, one large bathroom, a toilet and a living room with kitchenette. The interior is well kept and basic, nothing modern. The small spa area was nice, with a relaxation corner, a fire place and tables. The service was friendly. The food was ok but I felt too much cream was used for the dishes.”

“I liked it more before the renovation. Breakfast before was much better and really what was done to the lobby was ok but not necessary in my opinion. The front desk is a bit fancier which is good but that’s about it. The rooms are rather small with massive beds. What I don’t like about the hotel is the bathrooms are small and have so many sharp edges. There is not enough space over the sink to put make up/ cosmetics etc. I had 4 different rooms and also the loft upstairs here so I know what I am talking about. I liked that they had steamers for clothes in the room but they got rid of the malin + goetz shower products and now have some weird brand. What I like is the jazz music and the romantic vibe. The location and the building are good. There is always fee tea and coffee by the lobby which is nice! All in all for me too small rooms and I always freeze in this hotel. The heating only gets luke warm and I couldnt turn off the AC. The blankets were heavy and waaaay too warm. When you were under the blanket you were sweating like crazy and without I was cold.”

They have a nice roof top bar where they for some weird reason have decided to bother their guests (as other reviewers also point out) with the most hideous and slow smart phone self service. It takes forever to handle the order on the website and they accept very few payment options. They do not accept Amex and do not indicate other than 'Card' or the exclusively Swedish 'Swish' payment system so very limited options, especially for non-swedes. All in all the app order took about 15 minutes and three different cards to complete. All while three waiters were serving only 6-10 tables. Several tables needed help with the app. Please improve your web app, move away from Nets if they cannot handle people's payments and in general opt your service. A small plus though for choosing a web app over native apps. Restaurant food was so-so but again; staff had no clue about service. One example was not getting the wine until after the main dish. I had the meat and it was far from tender. Clean, quiet room with an okay bed.”

“Very enjoyable campsite for families with children. Unfortunately the stuga we stayed in was dirty. Every shelve, drawer had a lot of dust. Grease all over the kitchen walls and on the stove. Lots of black hairs and dirt in bathroom. Reported to reception and their response was that they would tell the cleaning crew to do a better job NEXT time. That is completely unsatisfactory when you pay a high price and also pay for final cleaning. The stuga is big and has everything but it needs maintenance (paint, walls, bathroom, curtains) and deep cleaning. It looks old and worn out now.”

All in all we were very pleased with our stay! Extra kudos to the staff (Kit) in the reception who helped us sort out a misunderstanding regarding how to charge our electric vehicle.”
