“Stayed here for a whole week, which sounds a lot, I was here for a competition and to enjoy the nature and the tranquility the town that could offer. The hostel has a great sauna and shower for guests to use, which was a wow factor for me as a first time Sweden traveller. The rest of the hostel was really clean and calm, even though it is requested that the hostel guests had to do the cleaning on their own. The staff were all very friendly, gave some tips on the walking tours and spots. The location was not hard to be found at all, and there were loads of resto, groceries and parks. It was one of the most pleasant stay and travel experience so far!”

“We drove to the parking space on our tour. When we arrived the reception wasn't staffed but that wasn't a problem. There are letterboxes outside where you can find a key for the electricity box. In the morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. the friendly reception is manned and you can check in. The place is in the middle of the archipelago.... World class panorama... highly recommended.👍👍”

“We stayed just after Easter for one night in one of the Laxhall cabins on our way driving across Sweden. The location is incredible on lake Vänern, and I think it would certainly be worth visiting during the high season (after corona) when the other facilities open up fully (restaurant/bar/spa on site). The accommodation itself was very high spec but I have to say wasn't 100% perfectly clean to hotel standard, hence my rating of 4/5 - otherwise I would have given it 5*.”
